 Also I noticed as soon as Satchidanand emailed me, I got a down-pouring of light from above the crown which kept charging me up the rest of the day – and my cravings died out! Then I realized the cravings were ego-blockages and that I did not want them.


This meditation 3 - The Energy Enhancement Course Level One, Initiation Three Streaming Video... is great! I've done it some more and it's incredibly powerful. I don't know why it isn't more well known or taught?

 

"BECAUSE TRADITIONAL MEDITATIONS ARE DESIGNED TO FAIL!!"

 

It's really bringing up little blockages which are complaining while being pushed down into the earth's core to get purified. The hot fire energy has gotten much stronger in my body while doing the practice, mostly the base of the spine heats up, but also the middle of the spine. There are lots of little blockages being noticed. But I'm pushing them out.


I think this is my new favorite meditation practice! It's far more powerful than the normal orbit practice.


 Have practiced it some more – my body gets very hot during the practice – just like the video says.

 My mother came into the room and told me she 'couldn't be near me' because I was giving off too much heat – like a radiator! After this I noticed that by thinking about certain areas of my body I could send the intense heat to that area!


So now this meditation is definitely the most powerful one I have got. Very impressive. I do an in breath/out breath orbit and then hold for a moment at the earth-core. Then I bring up the energy again.


 

I've had another experience today, which is light surrounding a part of my selfish ego, and my ego submitted. The light has won for this issue. It is no longer possible to tolerate some of my selfish behaviours.

 Now I feel very peaceful.

Thanks! I want to update you. I underwent a profound change in my energy last night after my main ego blockage submitted.

However today I noticed with more light in my system, that there are more, smaller ego blockages which are there and which talk to me. I look forward to resolving them. I'll now paste what I wrote last night.

Now I write here what I experienced between my last comment and reading her reply, written just below:

I had to lay down to do some meditation just now, and I felt like there were ‘two me’s, the first me was this little black smudge of an ego, the ‘I’, the selfish ego, or the part which basically functions for it’s own agenda. This guy basically pleasure-seeks and avoids pain/responsibility and is good at justifying it’s reasons and making excuses.

The second ‘me’, was this overwhelmingly peaceful, white light. It was so powerful it was literally drowning my little dark ego. So my ego had this light just drowning it from all directions. Imagine a war scene where the dark side is just a little blob of dark and there is hundreds or thousands of times as much light surrounding it from all angles.

Then also during this process, I had to see through the ‘light’s eyes to take a look at me…and I saw all these faults. I saw this creeping little dark ego who was so unaware of everything, it just kept making excuses for it’s actions ‘but’ this, and ‘but’ that. It just kept wanting pleasurable things and to run away from responsibility. I had to take a long good look at this guy, this type of me.

So my little dark ego, the ‘I’, just …well, just gave up. He just said ‘Okay!! Okay…I give up! I give up! Surrender!’ So then I started to feel like I was going to cry. All this light just smothered me, my ego and gave it a lot of love and peace. Then I felt this vortex of white light form in my heart – it felt quite small, maybe an inch or so big.

 

Then I felt all this peaceful energy throughout my whole body – it felt like cosmic/space/universe energy. Something like a peaceful energy from space (as if I had a whole entire universe inside my chest and body with the heart at the center). After that happened, I was getting light flood my body and I just felt like crying and surrendering. I suddenly felt this rush of what felt like crystalline white light flood into my body and fill my arms and legs and whole body. So I had a new ‘layer’ of energy body or something like this.

I think it’s a point of no-return now! I can only surrender now. What seems to be filling my body is this type of energy which is peace and light, it only seems to want what’s right for everyone. I hope it remains. I don’t know how much of my ego I let go off…I wish all of it will go now.

I honestly don’t believe I will go back to being how I used to, because too much of my consciousness or awareness feels grounded into ‘light’, so if I can keep seeing from the light’s viewpoint, I can quickly pick out faults which I might otherwise do.

Phew, what an intense evening. But I feel so peaceful! I seem quite satisfied to just drown myself in this light.

I want to give an update on this today. I’m pleased to say that the energy of soft love and peace which flooded my body last night, has remained with me today. I feel like a completely different person. There has been a loss of desire, an increase in peace.

I threw out some supplements and felt like that type of thing has now become redundant.

Today I noticed that small ego blockages were in my aura. They are much weaker than the one which submitted to the light last night, they are more deeply buried.

I hope to continue to resolve and integrate these fragments of ego energy blockages in future.

Here is the experience of Kundalini Energy which our Energy Enhancement student, Danisa de Paul, got after a month of Meditation.

“I would like to transmit adequately in words the experience I got with Satchy + Devi, but I know these words do not exist. There are sensations and feelings there are very difficult to explain, you can only have the experience.

A few days ago I was practicing Energy Enhancement meditation techniques. I have learnt Energy Enhancement Stages One to Five of Level one only, which you can learn on the Energy Enhancement Online Course, however, suddenly my body started to move in circular movements anticlockwise and clockwise.

I left my body which was moving.

Nothing ever happened to me like that before, but after some time I was afraid, very afraid. An internal voice talked to me, there is no reason to be afraid.

I did not know what happened to me. I got the feeling I was spinning or may be about to explode. It was something very strong which after, stopped. Now my body is doing this movement all the time in meditation but first anticlockwise and after clockwise.

Today, also after this movement it started to move in a direct line from right to left and after front and back.

Thank God I got two Masters like them which destiny put in my Path.

When I went to see them in L’Escala, on the Costa Brava above Barcelona, the city in which I live, I knew that it would be a unique experience and very special, but in reality I found with something more than that.

I found the direction of my life. The utility of my existence on this planet, and I found the answer to many questions that many Human beings ask to themselves daily.

They gave me a good motive to be alive and to help others. They taught me how to enjoy every second, every detail, of life that may be in another moment I would think meaningless. I would like to tell to everybody how much can they enjoy if they decided to spend some time with them.

The best way to understand the experience is by going. To risk change, to risk opening another door, to walk through for a different path you could never imagine.

To synthesise what I said, I found happiness thanks to them and in reality they show you what you need to do, but we need to put our little bit of effort to work on ourselves.

All their teaching is a process over time. Really there is no money in this world can pay for all that...

Everything depends on us. Do you want to continue attachment to your fears and pains or do you want to risk being happy…?"

Hello!

Thanks for the email including my testimonial about Energy Enhancement in Spain! Its such a nice memory!

I think about these moments as the best of my life.

It was hard work for me but Ive never felt so happy and rewarded in my life, only when Ive been close to you both.

I been thinking about you lately a lot , I miss you guys, I really do. Im very busy here in Japan, thats why I didnt write to much, but now I have internet at home, and I hope we can be more in touch.

Im glad you are working hard there in Argentina and having a beautiful time.

Here is good, sometimes very hard. Japan is a good experience though but very intense.

Today I sat in a chair and listened to the heart chant initiation 1 for the first time.

I was focusing on aligning my shoulders and spine forward and backward between the two lines of power from the center of the earth. And picturing the immovable mountain. Focusing on my breathing, closing the anus. I stayed in for the first four minutes. Then I got tired and openned my eyes, for about 7 or 8 seconds. Then I was so drowsy I had to close my eyes again. Then after about another four minutes I was tired again. Then the same thing but this time I focused on nothing but the energy from the earth entering the base of my spine and coming into my heart. Right from the beginning of the meditation I felt my energy all over my whole chest, even now.

But at the last when I focused on it coming from the earth, I immediately felt very, very powerful energy and I didn't move to find it. My back straightenned up automatically to the alignment and I was kind of "stuck" in that position with the power flowing.

From there it was hard for me to stop meditating when the chants were over. Very powerful. Even without magnets. My question is about my focusing. Is it wrong to "imagine" the power or the alignment or the energy? or should we imagine until we feel it? Or both? Am I focusing on the right things?

 I am very grateful for your teachings. Thank you for your generosity.

Also I noticed as soon as satchi emailed me, I got a down-pouring of light from above the crown which kept charging me up the rest of the day – and my cravings died out! Then I realized they were ego-blockages and that I did not want them.

This Energy Enhancement Level One Initiation Three - ALCHEMICAL VITRIOL is great! I've done it some more and it's incredibly powerful. I don't know why it isn't more well known or taught? It's really bringing up little blockages which are complaining while being pushed down into the earth's core to get purified.

The hot fire energy has gotten much stronger in my body while doing the practice, mostly the base of the spine heats up, but also the middle of the spine. There are lots of little blockages being noticed. But I'm pushing them out.

    My Introduction and background

     

    My name is Jean, and I am a thirty seven year old Chartered Engineer from the UK  working in the Nuclear Industry.

     

    Since beginning the four-week Energy Enhancement course two weeks ago I have been consistently impressed with the efficacy of this programme.

    Energy Enhancement In Spain Course Arrangements

     

    The course takes place in L’Escala on the Costa Brava in Northern Spain. The duration is four weeks to learn the four levels of Energy Enhancement.

     

    I was allowed to make payments in easy monthly instalments via Pay Pal beginning a year in advance of the course start date. This planning well ahead also allowed me to book cheap flights from my home in the UK to Barcelona. From Barcelona I caught a train to Figueres station (only 8 Euros) where Satchi collected me.

     

    Accommodation is available at the SOL centre with Satchi and Devi or in one of the many campsites and villas available nearby. I chose to stay at the SOL centre to take maximum advantage of the ‘Buddha Field’ of energy, which pervades there.

    This highly charged energy field boosts progress towards freedom from negative feelings, circumstances, persons, places and conditions – towards enlightenment.

     

    What is Energy Enhancement?

    Energy Enhancement is a systematic and complete programme for removing all the negative thought forms (blockages), which cause an individual to be unhappy, stressed, unenthusiastic and tired. This course promises enlightenment.

    The course was devised and is delivered by Master Satchidanand (Satchi) and his wife Devi Dhyani. These two highly evolved individuals have very impressive credentials. Satchi had two enlightened masters, Zen Master Roshi Hogen of Japan and Swami Satchidanada, Yogiraj and disciple of Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh of India and the USA who died in 2002 at the ripe old age of 89.

     

    Devi has been teaching Meditation for over 20 years (34 years - SATCHI). All the details and much more are available at www.energyenhancement.org . The benefit of all this is available to all the students who undertake the course – it is real!

     

    ENERGY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME LEVEL 1

    The programme begins at level 1 which includes basic training in meditation and the manipulation of life energy (Ki, Chi, Pranha, Orgone, Kundalini). It also includes techniques for avoiding food, which contains poisons such as pesticides and for dealing with the effects any poisonous substance, which you may have ingested in the past. These poisons reduce your energy and therefore your progress towards happiness.

     

    ENERGY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME LEVEL 2

    Level 2 provides training and actual experience in removing the blockages (negative thought forms) to the free flow and accumulation of this energy in the body. With the skills learned in this stage it is possible for an individual to systematically remove all these blockages improving day by day until eventually none are left. This state of freedom is commonly referred to as Enlightenment or the end of personal suffering. I have not encountered any other system, which makes the light at the end of the tunnel so clear and attainable.

     

    ENERGY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME LEVEL 3

    Level 3 deals with past life resolution (I will be taking this part of the course in the next week)

     

    ENERGY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME LEVEL 4

    Level 4 deals with the mastery of relationships – or how to help your loved ones and acquaintances (final week)

     

    My Experiences

    Energy Enhancement Online course

    Prior to coming on the residential course at L’Escala I had an excellent introduction to Energy Enhancement by taking the online course. Over a period of a year I was introduced to and worked with the principles of Level 1 of Energy Enhancement. The course material was abundant and clear.

     

    Any clarification that was required was forthcoming from Satchi via email. So I already knew before I came to L’Escala that the programme was effective because from the online course I had already had experience of energy flowing through my body, Kundalini shaking and psychic vision of the blockages (negative thought forms) like shiny black stones, which restrict that flow.

    My Energy Enhancement Residential Course in Spain

    My first notable experience on the course came when Satchi gave instructions on how to sit correctly in meditation. With Satchi’s help I was able to align my spine perpendicular to the surface of the earth and the Kundalini energy that radiates from within it.

     

    Kundalini Shaking

    The flow of energy caused my body to shake like electricity. I had had this shaking experience before with the more advanced level one techniques of the DVD Course but this time all that was required was correct posture.

     

    Heart Chakra Warmth

    Throughout Energy Enhancement Level 1 I experienced instances of movement and beautiful warmth in the heart as the Chakra increased in energy. This occurred during initiation from Devi, dealing with toxins and construction of psychic protection. The flow of energy became stronger and stronger causing my body to shake more intensely as it hit upon resistances.

     

    Blockage Removal Techniques

    In Energy Enhancement  Level 2 the techniques were given to remove those resistances – the first few baby steps towards ultimate freedom. Some of my experiences of blockage (negative thought form) removals are given below:

     

    Heart Chakra Blockage: This was my first blockage removal attempt and required a little help from Satchi. After I had worked on it for a while without completion Satchi asked if he could have a look to which I replied in the positive.

     

    From that point I was aware of great heat and light at the front of my body as though the sun was shining on me – but I was indoors! Needless to say the blockage is gone!

     

    Solar Plexus Chakra Blockage: For some time I had been experiencing pain at the bottom of my breast bone – one of the signs that there is a blockage. I tackled it with the techniques of Energy Enhancement Level 2 until it was successfully removed. There was an immediate reduction in pain which reduced to virtually nil over the following days – proof to me that these techniques work!

     

    Blockages on the spine: I had been aware from using the techniques of level 1 gained from the online course that there were blockages along my spine. These blockages caused my body to shake when connecting to high levels of Kundalini energy – an interesting phenomena which let me know that something was happening but not helpful in the long run.

     

    Using the techniques of level 2 to remove these thirteen blockages which looked to me in my meditation like shiny black stones, the shaking ceased and the energy increased!

     

    Childhood trauma – The techniques of EE can be used to remove the negative thought forms associated with past trauma. When I applied the techniques to the memory of a near fatal childhood accident when I fractured my skull at the age of two I spontaneously experienced wonderful feelings of warmth and compassion towards the child that I was, and of forgiveness the whole situation that had occurred.

     

    These are just a few of the experiences that I have had since being here. All of my fellow students have had similar and much more dramatic experiences.

     

    Conclusion

     

    I have been working for over 12 years with many well known techniques including Transcendental meditation and Kriya Yoga, Subud, A Course in Mircles and the Sedona Method.

     

     Although I have made good progress with these techniques I now consider these to have been preliminary techniques to prepare me for Energy Enhancement.

     

    These methods that I have tried before simply don’t provide for the systematic identification of Energy Blockages or contain the Advanced Techniques for the  removal of the energy blockages to enlightenment that Energy Enhancement does.

    I hope this penning finds you both in excellent spirit and good health. You have been in my thoughts as I have been beavering away over here.

    Wanting to share with like minds a recent lovely story and also to hear your views on it.
    My own feelings here is that the story is testament to how well you two taught me all those years ago and how much was retained and subsequently put to good use.

    Very recently a young man of twenty one was brought to see me by his family in a terrible state. Covered from head to toe in eczema and phoiris and his skin looking like thin stretched leather.       Satchi taught us meditation and the Circulation of the Energies in order, as he said, "To improve our psychic vision" During these initiations I saw all my Energy Blockages in colour!! I saw my abdomen filled with blackness and thought back to my first periods, filled with pain, my inability to breathe properly and the problems I have with digesting food.

      I saw all the brown clouds of pain filling my lumbar region and the problems with the throat chakra making me understand my problems with communication and the Peter Principle, we always do that which we most need to learn, which caused me to become a journalist and an arabian belly dancer teacher.

      Satchi saw/felt them too and asked if I would like some healing because he explained that normally he liked to teach the Removal of Blockages Techniques of Energy Enhancement Level 2 and let the students heal themselves, but because I was going before he could teach that, he thought that a little band aid would be helpful because he felt that the abdominal blockages were not made in this lifetime but had come to me from my previous lifetimes.

      I lay on my back and Satchi placed his hands over my abdomen and I drifted off to a place of peace. I imagined myself lying on the grass in the sunshine. I saw Satchi as an energy there too, blowing through me like the wind. In this space I was a man, and not a woman as I am in this lifetime, and very focussed and filled with anger. Many images of women relationships passed in front of me some of them pregnant and I saw that I had no respect for the women in my life. I was wounded in the right side of my belly and I was dying.

      As Satchi healed my belly I felt the pain of the wound I was dying from and people watching me said that this pain was reflected in my face. Finally the pain was gone and Satchi said  that was enough for now. The previous lifetime had been healed and I had been brought face to face with attitudes in a previous lifetime, anger and a lack of respect, being mirrored in this. I saw how my irritation and anger was taking me away from my infinite peace and how these attitudes were reflected back at me in my relationship with my husband.

      It was interesting that the relationship chakra, the abdomen, the place I was wounded was reflecting my previous attitudes and the Karma of those previous lifetimes was being given back to me so that I would be taught never have those attitudes again. I want to learn from my mistakes.

      Satchi says you only get visions if you need to learn something.

      Satchi explained that the intellectual level thought that it could solve everything just like this.. "I should not get angry!!"  but that the intellectual level did not have the power to make that promise because its links with the emotions were broken, blocked and faulty.

      He explained that the intellectual level similarly says, "The whole world should be filled with peace." Yet for 10,000 years there have been one or two wars every year.

      Prior to seeing the "Initiation One" Video my 50 year old legs would go numb within 10 minutes any time I tried to meditate sitting on the floor with legs crossed in "easy position".  After making the adjustments suggested in the video I can sit for 40+ minutes without any sign of numbness or strain.  I'm sure I'll be able to go much longer with practice.  An alternate method of sitting "saddle style" was also shown and it too provided numbness and pain free meditation. 

       
      The next part of the video described how to align the spine so that it is square to the earth.  Once in alignment I could easily feel the current from the center of the earth flowing though me.  This was very energizing.
       
      These two changes alone I feel will dramatically impact my meditation progress for the better. 
       
      The breathing technique given was not unlike techniques that I've used before.  So it wasn't a major breakthrough for me.  However, with the above two changes I think any breathing technique would be greatly enhanced.

      "There is little more I can say about the efficacy of Energy Enhancement that I haven’t already said before so I will recount a wonderful experience I had whilst on the course.

      The rest of the class were sat in a circle on the floor meditating with Master Satchidanand. It was my turn to receive an initiation from Devi so I was sat on a chair at the back of the meditation room with my eyes closed and hands together in a prayer like fashion.

       

      "As I became absorbed in the experience of the initiation it was as if my eyes opened to the scene before me. However this was not the scene to which I closed my eyes.

      Satchi and the students had transformed into beings of intense white light. I think that I was being given a glimpse of their true nature, a peek at the world the way the enlightened see it.

       

      The meditation room had opened and expanded. I felt we were outdoors in a place of great space, holiness and energetic purity maybe a forest or mountain top.

       

      Then I became aware of the presence of others. A group of beings approached from my right and turned to face me one by one.

       

      I felt immense happiness and peace at their presence, they had an aura of intense holiness and purity - great Saints and Sages.

        The problem is that over the years we lose our inner energy due to bad experiences that happen to us in life. Negative thoughts forms are also responsible for its lack. The solution to all these problems is learning Energy Enhancement! So I had to go onto the course!!!

        I am now finishing the Energy Enhancement Level 3 of the Energy Enhancement Course. I have learned so much in this course that there is no way that I could sum it up in few lines!

        However I can tell you about an experience that I had during my first week. This proved me and may be to you as well, that meditation is very active process using the energy of the earth and those from the universe. I was sitting in the lotus position, applying some of the basic Energy Enhancement techniques, and suddenly I felt my whole body getting warmer and warmer. My hands started to shake a little bit and I was feeling slightly dizzy.

        As I was still concentrating on the technique a heat from within started to make my whole body sweat. Although it was a cool September day I was getting so warm that I could feel the drops of sweat coming down the back of my spine, from my head onto the my neck. Once the meditation over I had to get change and have a shower because even my clothes were all damp. I can guarantee to you that I am not a person to get very warm even in the hottest summer day in Spain!

        There is an ancient Greek myth about Hercules, (a Son of God, Zeus), wanting to marry Persephone the Daughter of the King of the underworld. The Crown Chakra wanting to combine with the Base Chakra. Shiva combining with Shakti. A Human Being becoming Enlightened.

         

         

        He needed to ask her father's permission. When he did, her father was pleased to marry his daughter to the son of Zeus, but first he must perform 12 tasks. The 12 labours of Hercules. The fifth task was to clean out the Kings stables - The Augean stables. Hercules said, "No Problem," but when he saw the stables, he realised what a mountainous task he had taken on. There were thousands of horses and they had been creating manure for hundreds of years. Just like we, ourselves, create and absorb Trauma and Karma over thousands of lifetimes.

         

        At first, he tried to dig the manure, examining every turd. Just like the psychologists and past life therapists of today. But after one month he had got nowhere. He had only cleared a small hole in a mountain of shit.

         

        After much thought, he then projected to change the course of the river Styx, the river we cross when we die, through the stables. When he did this, the stables were quickly cleaned as the river washed all the manure away.

        An enlightened being is sometimes given the title Paramahamsa. This refers to an ancient Hindu myth of when the world was young, the whole of the surface was covered with water. The mischievous Gods mixed milk and poison in the water and stirred it all together. Paramahamsa was the name meaning the Great White Swan. 

        This enormous Swan, is said to have had the ability to put its beak deep down into the water and draw out pure milk. It had the capacity to discriminate and draw in only the milk, which is the reason it remained white, and reject the poison water. Not only that, a Paramahamsa, an enlightened being, has the capacity of changing water into wine, poison into milk, Yin into Yang, black into white.

        Aham also means the self. Para means higher.         Also I noticed as soon as Satchidanand emailed me, I got a down-pouring of light from above the crown which kept charging me up the rest of the day – and my cravings died out! Then I realized the cravings were ego-blockages and that I did not want them.


        This meditation 3 - The Energy Enhancement Course Level One, Initiation Three Streaming Video... is great! I've done it some more and it's incredibly powerful. I don't know why it isn't more well known or taught?

        It's really bringing up little blockages which are complaining while being pushed down into the earth's core to get purified. The hot fire energy has gotten much stronger in my body while doing the practice, mostly the base of the spine heats up, but also the middle of the spine. There are lots of little blockages being noticed. But I'm pushing them out.


        I think this is my new favorite meditation practice! It's far more powerful than the normal orbit practice.


         Have practiced it some more – my body gets very hot during the practice – just like the video says.

But these saintly powers of goodness only can come from one who is in tune with the energies of the Universe.           It is good that the student knows that he has to become good and that he has to make himself good, but without Spiritual Energy and without energy blockage removal techniques, no wonder people meditate for 20 years and never get anywhere.

          It is impossible to get all the good results below just by telling yourself to be good. The blockages will just laugh at you and however much you try to resist them, the temptations will always be too much and you will backslide, and you will fail.

          Prior to seeing the "Initiation One" Video my 50 year old legs would go numb within 10 minutes any time I tried to meditate sitting on the floor with legs crossed in "easy position".  After making the adjustments suggested in the video I can sit for 40+ minutes without any sign of numbness or strain.  I'm sure I'll be able to go much longer with practice.  An alternate method of sitting "saddle style" was also shown and it too provided numbness and pain free meditation. 

           
          The next part of the video described how to align the spine so that it is square to the earth.  Once in alignment I could easily feel the current from the center of the earth flowing though me.  This was very energizing.
           
          These two changes alone I feel will dramatically impact my meditation progress for the better. 
           
          The breathing technique given was not unlike techniques that I've used before.  So it wasn't a major breakthrough for me.  However, with the above two changes I think any breathing technique would be greatly enhanced.
           

          Overall, I think that this video gives the two most important and often overlooked keys to meditation. First is finding a sitting position that is comfortable for a long duration and second is squaring the body to tap into the earth's energy system.

          Below is my review of "Energy Enhancement Initiation 2" of 28 Energy Enhancement Initiations - The Circulation of the Energies.

          Energy Enhancement Initiation 2 is the micro-cosmic orbit that is taught in many forms of qi gong, with two major improvements.

           

           First you learn how to identify where you have blockages and second you learn a couple of techniques on how to clear the blockages. I had practiced the micro-cosmic orbit in the past but lost interest in it because of the lack of progress I had.

          I have been practicing the micro-cosmic orbit using the techniques in Energy Enhancement Initiation 2 for the past couple of weeks and have noticed steady progress. One thing I have noticed a natural flow of saliva which fills my mouth within a few minutes anytime my tongue is in proper alignment.

           

          Besides feeling the micro-cosmic orbit more clearly, I can also feel a stronger kundalini flow when I align myself as taught in Energy Enhancement Initiation 1.

           

          I have identified the blocked areas of my spine and body and have been using the Energy Enhancement techniques to remove them.

          Pythagorean Foundations of Energy Enhancement - The Central Fire, Kundalini Chakra in the Center of the Earth

           Having considered Fire in the microcosm, we now turn to the macrocosm. According to the Pythagoreans, the Enveloping Fire of the sun is balanced by a Central Fire in the center of the Earth. Indeed, Empedocles says that many fires burn beneath the Earth, that the Solar Fire was born in the bowels of the Earth, and that Volcanic Fire shoots to the Heavens and licks the stars. Thus Fire is the highest and the lowest Element; it is as though the Elemental Square has been unfolded into a line of the Antahkarana (see figure). This results in a series of cosmic spheres: Celestial Fire, Air, Water, Earth, and Central Fire; the Celestial Fire of God mirrors the Central Fire of Kundalini Chakra in the center of the earth as though in a higher octave.

          One might suppose that the "Fires of Hades" is a Christian notion, but it actually has its roots in ancient Greek esoteric doctrine. As explained in the "Introduction" and in "Earth," "Water" and "Air," Empedocles' "Enigma" associates Earth with Hera, Water with Persephone, Air with Zeus, and Fire with Hades. However, there are many additional signposts to the Central Fire, for Empedocles teaches that the ultimate source of all Fire is Hades, and that the Central Fire is the source of all life, creation and destruction (see "Hephaistos and Alchemy," below).
