In the process, something of himself has to die, or be given up, so he can be
reborn and meet the challenge. This requires courage, something rarely discussed
in a psychology class or textbook.
How could the world be freed from the terrible dilemma of conflict, on the one
hand, and psychological and social dissolution, on the other? The answer was
this: through the elevation and development of the heroic individual, and
through the willingness of everyone to shoulder the burden of Being and to take
the heroic path of Enlightenment. To remove every spot of trauma
Through Meditation we must each adopt as much responsibility as possible for
individual life, society and the world. We must each tell the truth and repair
what is in disrepair and break down and recreate what is old and outdated. It is
in this manner that we can and must reduce the suffering that poisons the world.
Illumination is asking a lot. It’s asking for everything. But the
alternative—the horror of authoritarian belief, the chaos of the collapsed
state, the tragic catastrophe of the unbridled natural world, the existential
angst and weakness - to Death! of the purposeless individual — is clearly worse.
I hope that these rules and their accompanying essays will help people
understand what they already know: that the soul of the individual eternally
hungers for the heroism of genuine Being - Enlightenment, Illumination,
Completion, and that the willingness to take on that responsibility is identical
to the decision to live a meaningful life.

These pure and good people, wanting benefit and happiness for all, without a
trace of selfishness and competition have been known to have psychic powers.

For example Gautama Buddha has related many stories about his past lives, - as a
Master connects with his Soul which is immortal and remembers all of the past
lifetimes, so the newly Enlightened Buddha starts to remember and learn from all
his past lives.

Gautam Buddha has related many stories of his past lives, and they have such
beauty and significance.
In one of his past lives he heard about a man who had become enlightened; his
name was Deepankar Buddha. The word deepankar means one who can light the candle
of your being; the word `lamplighter' is the exact meaning of deepankar. Deep
means lamp, and deepankar means lamplighter. Gautam Buddha was not enlightened
in that life. Thousands of people were going to see Deepankar Buddha, and just
out of curiosity he also went.
When he saw Deepankar Buddha -- he had no intention... He had come there only
out of curiosity, but the moment he saw the man and the beauty of the man --
those deep eyes reminding him of the depth of oceans -- and the field of a
certain energy vibrating around the man... not knowing what he was doing, with
tears rolling down from his eyes, he touched the feet of Deepankar Buddha.
He himself could not believe what he was doing, and why...? He had not come to
touch his feet, and why were these tears coming and why was he feeling so
immensely happy? Nothing visible had happened, but something invisible had
touched his heart, the bells in his heart had started ringing. A subtle music
had touched him.
And at that very moment, as he stood in front of Deepankar Buddha, Deepankar
Buddha bowed down and touched the feet of Gautam Buddha -- who was not
enlightened in that life. He could not believe what was happening. He asked,
"What are you doing? If I touch your feet it is perfectly right, I am ignorant.
But you have attained to the ultimate consciousness -- you are not supposed to
touch my feet."
And Deepankar Buddha said something that Gautam Buddha remembered when he became
a buddha. The first thing that he remembered then was the statement of Deepankar
Buddha of many lives before: "Don't be worried. Yesterday I was also ignorant,
today I am enlightened; today you are ignorant, tomorrow you will be
enlightened. There is not much difference -- it is only a question of time. When
you become enlightened, remember."
The moment somebody becomes enlightened, to him the whole existence becomes
enlightened -- at least potentially. He can't see himself in a special position.
The really awakened man does nothing to enlighten anybody.
His very presence,
his Buddhafield, his enlightened radiance certainly does miracles, his very
being is magical, but as far as he is concerned, he himself is no more. Who is
there to do anything?
On the last day of his life, Gautam Buddha said -- when his disciples were
paying tributes to him because then he was leaving his body -- "Don't feel
grateful to me, because I have not done anything. In fact, since the day
enlightenment happened I have not been in existence. Things have been happening
around me -- that's another thing. But I am not the doer; the doer is dead, the
doer has gone long before enlightenment entered."
Things certainly happened, hundreds of people became enlightened around Gautam
Buddha, but he was not doing anything to make them enlightened. He was just
available, like a well. If you are thirsty you carry the water from the well and
drink, but the well is not doing anything.
The search for this next step in evolution comes from the enhancement, the
increase, of energy.
As fire is spread from candle to candle. As the sacred word resonates in both he
who gives and he who receives. As Grace dropeth as the gentle dew from Heaven,
twice blessed..
So a preparation of he who receives, the student, the candle, by the removal of

More evolved people have taken the Initiation of the Opening of the
Heart. This Initiation normally takes one hundred lifetimes.
People who have no Hearts, who have not taken the Initiation of the Opening of
the Heart, have no empathy - they have Blockages in the Heart Center, and they
have no Conscience - they have Blockages above the Crown Chakra cutting them off
from the chakras above the head and the intuition of God. Thus they have no
shame and can and do perform any horrible act. This is 50% of Humanity.
These people are in the process of learning about Karma. They always get bad
results from their actions not necessarily immediately, but always sometime in
the future. Thus they learn compassion from being sorry for themselves as they
receive that which they have given unto others.
As we evolve, if we are more sensitive, Karma comes immediately.
The Karma of the people without hearts always comes from breaking Gods Laws -
"Thou shalt not Steal" - Corruption or Ahimsa, "thou shalt not give Pain" and
"Thou Shalt not Kill" - and these people are normally called Psychopaths or
Sociopaths in the spectrum from a petty tyrant to Hitler.
The process of Opening the Heart means that you develop Compassion for others
and also shame which causes Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for your
terrible acts. Only people who are on the verge of the Initiation of the Opening
of the Heart can have shame, can have PTSD. This is why, in the army of
Alexander the Great, the best soldiers were 65 years and older. The people of
the heart are always weeded out in the first battles. After killing in
Alexander's army for many years only the heartless were left.
Thus we spend our early years, if we are successful, graduating from the more
lowly evolved groups within human society.
A person who has Opened the Heart will not be corrupt and will not kill no
matter what the intellectual or emotional argument for doing it. Thus, advanced
societies have banned the death penalty and instead give the bad karma of Life
Sentences in terrible prisons.
These people who have passed the Initiation of the Opening of the Heart, the
people of the heart, have graduated to the process of taking the Initiation of,
"The Mastery of Relationships". This process normally takes 10 lifetimes to
complete.
You can tell if you are in the process of taking the Initiation of the Mastery
of Relationships by looking at your personal history.
Have you had bereavements early in life? Lost your mother or your father in
divorce early in life? Difficult to hold onto your relationships? Having many
fleeting Relationships? If so, you are in the process of taking the Initiation
of the Mastery of Relationships.
This process involves cleaning out the lower chakras, especially the
relationship chakras, of all of its energy blockages of congealed pain or
negative karmic mass. This must be completed before they can successfully
maintain a relationship with a person or a group, before they can maintain an
energy connection with a partner for a long time because blockages on the energy
connection will make the connection difficult to maintain.
It also involves choosing the right person and the right group to be with.
People fail the test for the Initiation of the mastery of Relationships by
insisting on choosing the wrong person and group to be with. The wrong person or
group will have too many blockages to be called sane.
In modern, more evolved societies, after the age of fifty, 30% of all people
live alone in their flats with their cats and dogs to have energy connections
with. Cats and dogs are tolerant of energy connections with energy blockages and
can even heal these blockages over time. They are very faithful and never leave
you, except when they die.
Usually this means that these people have failed in finding a person or a group
to resonate with and given up. Probably they have failed to clear out their
lower chakras of all of its congealed pain which means that they will be touchy
and it will be impossible to maintain an energy connection with anyone for a
long time.
As like calls to like, probably they have chosen similar people with energy
blockages in the relationship chakras to be with and so received even more
painful experiences into their blockage filled lower chakras.. "Unto those that
have, more will be given" - Jesus Christ.
So the minimum is that you have cleaned out your relationship blockages in order
to have a long relationship. Energy Enhancement teaches how to remove these
Energy Blockages.
Also, today I was teaching Meditation to a 65 Year old Reiki Master whose
husband had died last year. She had had an operation on the Liver to try to find
the problem of pain there, and in other parts of her body, but the doctor could
not find anything, so the problem obviously was that of Energy Blockages. She
was a little suspicious of me at first which is probably sensible even though I
had been recommended by a friend. As we talked she got on the same wavelength
and she started to trust me so that when it Came to the initiation, at the end
of the initiation when we practise the Meditation I was given knowledge of her
blockages as I was automatically drawn to them. And I healed them, dissolved and
removed them, resurrected them because these were high and difficult blockages,
one by one.
I told her what happened with Arwen Evenstar (Search for her on the
energyenhancement.org google site search at the bottom of our pages), our 21
year old student in Crete, how I healed her painful menstruations where she had
turned white with pain every month for 6 years, as I removed three tough
blockages in her abdomen in our first meditation together. After totally failing
at relationships prior to the blockage removal and turning through despair into
a lesbian, Arwen finally got married to a man last year. Devi Dhyani and I were
invited to the wedding!!
The other condition for passing the Initiation of the Mastery of Relationships
is that you reject all people and groups who are at the wrong evolutionary level
for you as these types of relationships unless altruistic and for the purpose of
being taught, can never persist.
The square peg in the round hole is a very painful place to be. "Its the fish
which John West rejects which makes John West the best" - Advert for John West
Salmon. As you choose only the best people, the people at greater or similar
evolutionary level to your own to be with, so your life will blossom and
succeed, but you have to remove the blockages first.
If you don't remove the
relationship blockages you will end up like the guy searching for the perfect
woman. When asked what happened he said he had found her 20 years before, "But
she was searching for the perfect man"
Usually you must choose to be with an enlightened Master to be with for a while,
in order to pass the Mastery of Relationships and then successfully take the
Third Initiation of Enlightenment - Soul Fusion, and higher Initiations to
become a Jedi Master, a Merlin, an Avatar, within one lifetime.
To become enlightened at all, an Enlightened Master is necessary.
You are that Seed!!

Therapy and psychology allow intellectual appreciation of the problem in ourselves and others. It takes meditation to heal the splits and integrate the separated selves by ascension and integration to the Soul, the Higher Self.
Charles Tart and others have used the symbology of the very nature of cyberspace
as acting as a sort of "universal solvent" to break up our long cherished
notions, myths that everyone is a monolithic self.
The ease with which we can take on new Split Personalities and new
connectivities in the virtual domain implies an average self which is
multivalent, fluid and de-centered-- a self which often operates in parallel, in
different modalities and different capacities.
I propose that a model for the average unintegrated person, this new,
postmodern, postrationalist, cyberspatial self can be found in the cluster of
psychological manifestations currently known as Splitting - or Dissociative
Identity Disorder (DID), and formerly and more popularly as Multiple Personality
Disorder (MPD).
But I also propose that Shamen and Enlightened Saints have provided a higher
model of Personality integration in the concept of the Soul Infused Personality
and integration with the Higher Self.
The average person lives in a more or less completely self-constituted world,
where fragments of personality are imbedded in a matrix of delusional
projections. It is a world where inner-driven states are substituted for any
kind of consensual reality, and a world where it is almost meaningless to talk
about having "personality" at all.
The task of Deleuze and Guattari's happy schizophrenic is to harness this
condition of non-referentiality to the use of forging a new kind of self, in an
essentially linguistic transformation, free of the moral and psychological
despotism of Modernism.
Schizophrenia is very different from normal and average Splitting only in
degree.
The concept of dissociation
The concept of Multiple Personalities has evolved over not just centuries, but
millennia, and throughout cultures as varied as nomadic hunter gatherers of the
sub-arctic to contemporary industrial societies. At its core, this concept
involves the inherent capacity of the human psyche to dissociate or split.
Colin Ross defines dissociation quite simply: "Dissociation is the opposite of
association...For definitional purposes the psyche may be reduced to a
collection of elements in complex relationships with each other. Psychic
elements include thoughts, memories, feelings, motor commands, impulses,
sensations, and all the other constituents of psychic life. Any two psychic
elements may be more associated ... or relatively isolated and separate, which
is to be dissociated." (Ross, 1997, p 116).
Dissociation is an important factor in normal psychological functioning,
allowing for a degree of mutability and adaptability which would be impossible
without it. In the absence of healing the painful event causing the split
personality it is true that the only option of the average person is to have
amnesia of the causing event which again causes all these symptoms.
It is probably best to think of dissociation on a steadily worsening continuum
of split personality symptoms, from ordinary daydreaming, through such phenomena
as forgetting where one is going on the freeway, to the particularly florid
manifestations of dissociation which are commonly labeled as Multiple
Personality. Although the phenomenon is usually thought of as purely
psychological in nature, it can actually be either biologically or
psychosociologically driven, as given by Ross (Ross, 1997, p 116):
Symptoms of the Split Personality
1.Normal biological dissociation-- Forgetting that you got up in the night to go to the bathroom.
2.Normal psychosocial dissociation-- Daydreaming during a boring lecture.
3.Abnormal psychosocial dissociation-- Amnesia for incest.
4.Abnormal biological dissociation-- Amnesia following a concussion.
An integrated soul personality is always there, solid, not lost or daydreaming.
These biological aspects of dissociation reinforce the notion that it is an
entirely normal process in the average person.
Dissociation due to encapsulated pain is the only resort of the psyche which
does not have the ability, through meditation to ground and heal that
encapsulated pain or energy blockage.
Grounding the encapsulated trauma and pain centered in an energy blockage will
obviate the necessity for the split and indeed heal any split which has
occurred.
Shamen and the Guru as trained Healers.
The earliest known references to dissociative phenomena are to be found in Neolithic cave paintings, in which Shamen can be seen entering into dissociated parts of their clients symbolised as animals and spirits. Jung used a similar methodology.
In fact, throughout the long march of what we call pre-history, such integrated
psychic power abilities had great survival value, by enabling a connection with
the interior worlds of spirits and animals, with which split humans coexisted.
Persons adept at such entering the psyche of the split client for the purposes
of integration were given positions of considerable power and respect in
"primitive" societies.
Shamen and the enlightened, though, always had the ability to enter, heal and
then come back. Split Personalities are lost, they are still searching for the
road home, searching for Integration and healing.
The shamanistic tradition has survived almost to the present day in the
circumpolar regions of Asia and North America, and study of these cultures
provides our best view of how shamanism operated over tens of thousands of years
so it is illustrative to examine this incredibly ancient and successful
tradition.
Most shamen, as near as can be determined, seemed to be healthy and not
suffering from mental disorders. They were integral members of their societies
and often went through long periods of training to become adept, all of which
argue against any sort of pathological component to their craft. The Shamen of
the far north rarely, if ever, used hallucinogenic plants, relying instead
exclusively on self-hypnosis and meditation. They were, in effect, rigorously
trained professional psychics, priests who functioned variously as weather
forecasters, doctors and conveyors of the oral tradition.
An example of the training given to Shamen is available in a 5000 years old text
called, "The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali."
In there a meditational methodology for integration with the soul has been
extant for millennia. However, always the Guru Shaman who has walked the path
was considered essential to the process of soul integration.
The healer, Shaman, Enlightened through much training, always have the ability
to come back to themselves, to re-integrate after helping the integration of a
client.
However, the cure for split personality for everyone is integration of the
splits by grounding all the negative energy created by traumatic experiences
which sustains the splits. As we ground all the negative energy through
meditation, so the splits disappear and one integrated soul personality becomes
in charge..

THOUGHT-FORMS IN TIBET
Besides the idea that "thought forms" may be inadvertently created, there is also the viewpoint that they can be deliberately brought into being.
The following excerpt is from the book The Yoga of Sex by Omar Garrison:
According to secret lore, man can develop such concentration of mind that he is able to generate psycho-mental energy (called "risal" in Tibet) and to use it for bringing about results that to the uninitiated appear to be supernatural.
It has been because the Tantric* techniques employ these secret methods of concentration that Tantrism has been called the most elaborate system of auto-suggestion in the world.
While such an evaluation may serve to explain the more seductive visions of the sadhaka [adept], it is hardly adequate to account for phenomena witnessed by persons other than the creator of them.
For example, Tantric adepts (especially in Tibet) possess methods for projecting thought forms (called tulpas) which are materialized so completely that they are often mistaken for physical entities.
Moreover, these phantoms are sometimes visualized and given a kind of autonomy, so that they may act and seemingly think without the consent or even knowledge of their creator. In this connection, Madame Alexandra David-Neel, a Frenchwoman who spent many years among the lamas of Tibet, recounts an intriguing personal experience in the creation of a tulpa.
Having a sceptical turn of mind, Madame David-Neel suspected that many stories she had heard concerning such materializations might be gross exaggerations. The most common kind of Tulpa-making in Tibet is that of forming and animating the counterparts of Tibetan deities. So to avoid coming under the influence of this kind of mental suggestion - so prevalent around her - she chose for her thought-child the figure of a fat, jolly monk.
After a few months of performing the prescribed disciplines for ritual projection of thought image, Madame David-Neel relates that the form and character of her phantom monk took on the appearance of real life. He shared her apartment like a guest and, when she departed for a journey, he accompanied her entourage. At first, the monk put in an appearance only when his creator thought of him. But after a time, he began to behave in a very independent manner and to perform various actions not directed by his maker. So real did he become in time, that on one occasion, when a herdsman came to the Frenchwoman's encampment to bring her some butter, he mistook the chimerical monk for a live lama.
Even more alarming to the phantom's begetter, his character began to undergo a subtle change. He grew leaner and his face gradually took on a sly malevolent look. He daily grew more importunate and bold. "In brief," says Madame David-Neel," he escaped my control."
Clearly, the time had come to purge herself of the unwanted companion whom she had brought to life, but who, by her own admission, had turned her existence into a day-nightmare. It required six months of difficult practice and ritual to magically dissolve the monstrous prodigy.
"My mind-creature was tenacious in life," she declared.
How are we to explain such phenomena? Western psychology has only begun to investigate the secret and profound life of the mind. Many of their answers so far are far from adequate to account for occurrences such as that just cited.
Be that as it may, in the case of the deliberately created phantom, such as Madame David-Neel's monk, the independence and individuality of the prodigy ought to give us considerable pause....
