The heart chakra, God, Love, and Society

For the enlightened, the MASTER CHAKRA IS THE HEART CHAKRA and the other chakras (1,2,3,5,6) are it's SLAVE CHAKRAS. The seventh chakra symbolically represents the experience of a peaceful mind; the cessation of the chattering, wandering, and speculation of the Ajna chakra, therefore it is not really a state at all, not actually a chakra, it is a symbolic representation of the end of another state (the disturbances of a disconnected the ajna chakra).

In most societies, great emphasis is placed on turning the ajna chakra into a "thinking factory", an abode of forever thought noise - how awful a proposition this is and how excepting are the mass of this interference. Oh Man! You are not just your head, the kingdom of God is the Eternal, Infinite Heart - this is the abode of the Shared Centre of All - God, Tao, the Self.

Meditation is the medicine required to undo this ignorant conditioning. Many societies run the rule that "if you don't have an overdeveloped intellect then you are nothing" - rubbish. To much thinking takes away energy from the feeling centre. In Western Technocratic cultures, we encourage the training of the rational intellect - this is a good training, if, and only if, we keep it in balance with the training required to feel. What use the world if we forget our own Soul? Or in other words, what use all this thought if we lose connection with our Heart? - the abode of the Eternal Indweller - The Self in All - The Lord of Love - God.

Society encourages intellect - is so in love with intellect - is often in an ungrounded, unrealistic fantasy world of the intellect (ajna chakra) and its creations - that it actively discourage heart (God) centred living. The new wo/man is a Zorba the Buddha - an integrated human being - all chakras working in a great harmony, head, heart, body, soul, and God. This is really successful living. And truly it is far greater that the head serve the heart, rather than the other way around. Head should serve heart, head must serve heart, otherwise the world will be full of greedy bankers, tyrants, Hitlers, Stalins, and Thatcher's - hmm, sounds familiar doesn't it?!

Remember, it is the Heart that is the very jewel of the lotus, the very substance that makes a man and woman. Without a functioning heart centre - man and woman cannot be real adults, cannot be true people, cannot understand real morality - real spiritual feeling - and cannot rise to their birthright that is God Realisation.

Make the head and the other 5 chakras (1,2,3,5,6), a servant of the heart, base your entire society on this principle and everybody will be happy.

Come back to the heart, the shared centre of all, again and again. Return every other minute, every half hour. The longer we are away from the Universal Love of the Heart, then the stronger the grip of head and thus the arising of the dreaded ego.

If head and ego move away from heart for a long period of time - which is the basis for so many modern cultures and societies - then we arrive at the start of Ego-Centric Living - a recipe for the pain of separation and disaster and unhappiness for all.
