BEHAVIOURAL CHECKLIST
Before acting, consider the following points:

Is it a need or a greed (selfish desire and/or aversion)?

Is it harmless?

Consequences and outcomes? - consider the law of cause and effect.

Consider others. How will this activity impact on other's lives?
If we do not consider the lives of others, then our behaviour is classified as 'egocentric' - completely motivated by inconsiderate selfishness.
Everybody has to deal with egotism and vice, in ourselves and in others, so it is wise to understand what it is, how it arises, and how to deal with it.
The holistic life management practitioner finds happiness in finding and removing all the egotism and vice from their life, and finding ways of dealing with the appearance of the same in others.
The holistic human experience can be represented by the seven chakra system. The whole purpose and goal of self-development is to heal and purify the seven chakras - to get our life into the balanced and healthy (sattvic) mode.
We can begin to purify our life, others, and the world. This is purification using the power of the heart and the mind. What is a pure mind? A pure holistic mind is a beautiful, sattvic mind of love/wisdom. The pure (sattvic) mind is free from coarse and egocentric qualities.
That is a pure (sattvic) mind. That is the whole aim of Holistic Life Management and self development. The aim is to exchange the separated egocentric life-style with the integrated love/wisdom approach.
To make the mind pure is the aim of the first two limbs ("Yama" and "Niyama") of Ashtanga Yoga - "The Eight Limbs of Yoga" - which is taught in "The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - Book Two."
