Satchi (Satchidanand, Picture Left) has asked me to explain how I see the Energy Enhancement Level One at the end of my two weeks in Spain, and in particularly how it compares with other techniques that I have expertise or significant experience of; for example NLP, Aikido, Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Transcendental Meditation, Mantak Chia and the like.

My energy has been particularly low at the end of my last project, and my Homeopath has tried to get rid of an energy problem in lower half and a liver virus. I am an interim manager and work as Finance Director on short contracts to work with the Managing Directors of many international companies to resolve often serious business problems.

Philip, I need to work with a lot of energy for a concentrated period of time,
often in very negative situations, mainly larger American Fortune 500 International companies. I like
the job, but need the ability to retain my energy to build up new thought
forms in the company and to stay healthy and relaxed. I also want to work
with better quality organisations and people.

My low energy at the end of the last project was the catalyst to make me
want to learn Energy Enhancement, as I read the E- Book of Meditation Energy Enhancement
some two years before. I need something that I would be able to practice

Energy Enhancement techniques can be applied to any of the above disciplines and it will improve them all

It allows you to raise your energy levels, and as importantly, shows you
how to keep it and to protect it from being siphoned off by others. (People
with low energy normally siphon off high energy. This is called healing).

The energy techniques given in Energy Enhancement have never been
explained to me in Aikido (even Ki Aikido), Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga or on any meditation
course that I have been on like Transcendental Meditation, and have only been partly taught to me previously by Taoist master Mantak Chia and on Tantra Courses. Mantak Chia
I found particularly confusing; Chi Gung I found awkward.

Energy enhancement Level One is composed of three main concepts, with the
same aims: getting rid of blockages.

"SATCHI PROVED THIS TO ME IN THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES OF OUR FIRST MEDITATION, BY PUTTING MY BACK AND TOP OF THE HEAD IN THE RIGHT POSTURE. I IMMEDIATELY FELT A FLOW OF ENERGY GOING UP MY SPINE."

EE Stage 1, - Meditation
The basic concept is that if you are in the right posture then energy will
flow through you from the universe to the centre of the earth. Satchi
proved this to me in the first five minutes of our first meditation, by
putting my back and top of the head in the right posture. I immediately felt
a flow of energy going up my spine.

What stops the energy flowing to its full potential are energy blockages
in the body, for example pains you know about, but also other area where you
cannot feel energy flowing, and where negative emotions have attached
themselves to your body. The blockages are removed essentially by grounding
them, using the macrocosmic energy orbit, with stronger methods available.

Over the seven stages of Energy Enhancement we were taught to expand the
meditation to increase the energy; to identify and remove blockages, and to
put a protection around us so that the energy is not removed, consciously or
not by other people.

"I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN GIVEN SOME SECRET KNOWLEDGE, WHICH WAS ONLY GIVEN TO THE INITIATED, OR HIDDEN AMONG A LOT OF UNNECESSARY SUB TECHNIQUES IN OTHER DISCIPLINES."

Energy Enhancement Stage One: Finding the energy column in the spine. As I have indicated above I immediately felt the energy going up my spine, and an increase in my
energy at the end of the meditation.

"WITH EACH BLOCKAGE REMOVED I FELT MORE ENERGY FLOWING AND MORE ENERGETIC"

Energy Enhancement Stage Two: is to expand the energy circulation to the around the body, similar to the Taoist Microcosmic orbit, and techniques to identify and to remove
blockages. I felt that my energy increased, and I identified some areas
where the energy did not flow. Some of these I was able to remove, but
others seemed more attached. With each blockage removed I felt more energy
flowing and more energetic.

With Energy Enhancement we learn how to access Incredibly Intense External Kundalini Energies which power our Enlightenment. Then we experiences these Amazing Energy Increases FOR OURSELVES....

"I FELT HOT IN MY SPINE, SOME OF MY BLOCKAGES WERE BURNED AND REMOVED, AND AGAIN AT THE END OF THE MEDITATION I FELT A HIGHER LEVEL OF ENERGY."

Energy Enhancement Stage Three is to expand the energy orbit to the centre of the earth, and to ground and burn up blockages. Blockages can be grounded and burned, and you do not have to relive traumas or even remember the source of traumas. I felt hot in my spine, some of my blockages were burned and removed, and again at the end of the meditation I felt a higher level of energy.

"ONCE THIS STAGE WAS REACHED I HAD TREMENDOUS ENERGY"

Energy Enhancement Stage Four is to expand the meditation to include energy from above from the central sun, the macrocosmic orbit. Previously Satchi had psychically seen, identified and removed a blockage that he saw at the top of my head that he felt reduced my
energy level by 30%. This was in fact the exact figure that my homeopathic therapist had told me from his Vega test, about two weeks before. However I developed a headache during this stage, which disappeared when I had transmuted 2 more blockages by myself in the meditation.

Once this stage was reached I had tremendous energy. However, I went for a walk in the town and when I came back most of my energy had disappeared, as apparently high energy does get sucked up people with low energy unless you protect yourself.

Energy Enhancement Stage 6 gives the technique for protecting you from this loss of energy
from other people. It also enhances the energy you can build into yourself

"I ALREADY HAD A SIMPLER TECHNIQUE THAT WAS TAUGHT BY BANDLER IN NLP, BUT THE ENERGY ENHANCEMENT TECHNIQUE IS MORE POWERFUL."

Energy Enhancement Stage 5 is a technique for evaluating the quality of food before you eat it, by quickly mediating on its energy effect. Eating foods contaminated with pesticides is the quickest way to reduce your energy, and this technique allows you to see what effect a particular food will have on you,
which is extremely useful if you eat out a lot like me, and also helps check organic vegetables. I was surprised when I came that Satchi and Devi do not eat exclusively organic labelled foodstuff or wine, as with this technique you can check for yourself how good it is. I already had a simpler technique that was taught by Bandler in NLP, but the Energy Enhancement technique is more powerful.

"LINDA, THE RESIDENTIAL TRAINEE HERE IN SPAIN, FOUND TREMENDOUS BLOCKAGES, ALL THE WAY DOWN HER SPINE, WHICH SHE REMOVED USING THIS TECHNIQUE."

Energy Enhancement Stage 7, the last stage, is concerned with maintaining the auras, and identifying and removing blockages in the physical, emotional and mental auras. I did not find anything in my aura but Linda, the residential trainee here for a while, found a tremendous blockages, all the way down her spine, which she removed using this technique.

Each higher stage replaces and includes elements of the previous; so that when I get home my meditation will be at stage seven (with stage 5 for testing food).

"DEVI EXPLAINED THAT THE EE YOGA IS DESIGNED SO THAT IT HAS THE MAXIMUM ENERGY BENEFIT, MAKING THE BODY FLEXIBLE AND STRONG, SPENDING THE LEAST ENERGY POSSIBLE WITHOUT PUSHING, SO THE BODY DOES NOT SECRETE ADRENALINE, WHICH IS A KIND OF TOXIN FOR THE BODY."

Energy Enhancement Yoga
The second leg of Energy enhancement is Yoga.

I FEEL EE YOGA IS VERY EFFECTIVE; MY POSTURE HAS IMPROVED ..... AT THE END OF AN EE YOGA SESSION I FEEL THE SAME LEVEL OF ENERGY AS WITH 90 MINUTES OF ASHTANGA YOGA.

I have had a mixed relationship with Yoga, for thirty years ever since my Mother who is a Yoga teacher, showed my Brother and I how to do it. I think the way that Satchi explained it - to remove energy blockages, and to practice the yoga by working at the blockages in a posture, relaxing in and between the postures, and releasing and grounding the negative energies using EE techniques in the Yoga - has given me a clear sense of how practicing Yoga in this way has powerful benefits, even if you only concentrate on doing a number of poses well.

Devi explained that the EE Yoga is designed so that it has the maximum energy benefit, making the body flexible and strong, spending the least energy possible without pushing, so the body does not secrete adrenaline, which is a kind of toxin for the body.

I feel EE Yoga is very effective; my posture has improved in the two weeks I have been here, which it has not done when I practiced the ashtanga yoga, and at the same time at the end of an EE Yoga session I feel the same level of energy, as with 90 minutes of Ashtanga yoga.

The EE Yoga includes three part Yogic breathing to raise energy, and chanting, and holding the breath (Pranayama) to raise energy before a meditation.

EE Reiki
Not quite a third leg is Energy Enhancement Reiki - which combines traditional Reiki with Applied Kinesiology and EE Techniques, again to remove blockages.

Devi gave us level One Reiki initiation during the course, giving four Initiations, to raise our energy. She also taught Reiki. In the course of the two weeks we had some Reiki from Satchi and Devi on particularly hard energy blockages.

CONCLUSION, "ENERGY ENHANCEMENT WORKS"

"THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS COURSE AND OTHERS IS THAT I SAW AND FELT FROM THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES THAT MY ENERGY WAS ENHANCED"

My feeling on the Energy Enhancement is:

1. Energy Enhancement works, it builds up my energy in a way that none of the other disciplines I have encountered have.

2. It is easy to understand. It needs some effort, mainly will power, sometimes to get the meditation going, but it is not as onerous, or complicated, as for example, I found with Mantak Chia Chi Gung.

I feel that I have been given some secret knowledge, which was only given to the initiated, or hidden among a lot of unnecessary sub techniques in other disciplines.

One effect of Energy Enhancement is that I can no longer look at other disciplines like Ashtanga Yoga, Transcendental Meditation, NLP, Aikido and Ki Aikido and Mantak Chia and his Chi Gung, in the same light, because they do not contain this learning.

On the other hand I know EE will give me the energy to do things that are more important, particularly in my career as a Change Manager.

The difference between this course and others is that I saw and felt from the first five minutes that my energy was enhanced, although at times because of work on the blockages it went down again, and recovered once the blockages had been removed using the EE techniques.

With other disciplines you have to take it on faith that it will work at some time after practising the discipline or until someone initiates you into a secret known taught only to the selected few. (If indeed it works).

SO BASICALLY I NOW HAVE A CHOICE THAT ONLY I CAN MAKE. I CAN USE THE ENERGY ENHANCEMENT TECHNIQUES AND THE EE YOGA TO INCREASE MY ENERGY LEVEL - WHICH WILL NOT BE ONEROUS, BUT REQUIRES SOME WILL POWER, AT LEAST INITIALLY - AND MY WORLD WILL CHANGE, ALTHOUGH PERHAPS IN UNEXPECTED WAYS, OR I CAN PRETEND THEY DO NOT WORK AND GO BACK TO SLEEP.

I fully intend to come back for level 2 and level 3, and fully expect that regular practice will attract positive experiences to me to finance this.

TESTIMONIAL FROM A LADY IN SPAIN

Satchidanand, Well, after traveling from India to Spain we have resumed our Energy Enhancement Courses with our new clients in the beautiful SOL Villa on the Costa Brava in Spain. Here is an Interesting testimonial from over the first four days of the Energy Enhancement Level One Course.......

The Experiences at the Energy Enhancement Course with Satchidanand and Devi Dhyani

During past meditation sessions for over two years, I have twirled like a top when my bottom came into contact with the floor.

Satchi explained this was the Kundalini rising and I needed to find the centre of it. By swaying backwards and forwards, then side to side, I could touch upon its centre but it is a very fine place to contact and I kept going off course.

The same movement was to be done with my head, keeping the chin down. Then I needed to keep rechecking throughout the meditation to find it again.

After two years the swaying finally stopped in ONE session with Energy Enhancement! I later found out that Satchi had been working on this blockage at the same time using Energy Enhancement Level 2 Techniques.

On the next session we dealt with the circulation of energy, imagining a gold, white or silver light filling the body. The aim was to intensify it and get it to burn from inside. It had to permeate the whole body, chest, belly, arms, and legs. Then we were to take the light out from our heart centre in a thin line through the chakras.

It could flow either way and we were to test each out, the air or the water path. As we did so we were to look out for places where we did not see the light or feel it, where the light jumped, or there was pain or where we got distracted.

At these various places, there would be a blockage. When a blockage was identified we were to push thread through them and continue the sequence. The breath, crown and heart chakras were to be used as pushing tools.

There would be an increase in the power of the new techniques to remove blockages used in Energy Enhancement Levels Two and Three.

The main thing I noticed was that there were small black circles at various places en route. I could not say exactly where they were but just knew their vague vicinity.

These Black Circles are our clients view of Energy Blockages she spotted during the meditation. Satchidanand

I repeated in the evening, focusing on my belly blockage but got distracted by a cough and had to leave the room. Satchi explained the belly and throat chakras were connected, hence my cough.

Distraction has to be caught. In bed that night on another try, I was enjoying the white light so much I did not feel like following the sequence and wanted to remain in the white light. I fell sleep but was awoken by a loud popping sound and an image of a black disc appearing in front of me.

Next morning we took the sequence a stage further with the transmutation of cosmic energy and taking the energy to its fire core. The meaning of vitriol was explained and its relevance to alchemy as being the first formula or guided meditation of alchemy. Vitriol also means anger and we were to use this technique "To drain the last dregs of our Vitriol".

We were taught that blockages were seen as black like coal, food for the fire which would increase its heat. That Kundalini heat would then flow up the spine. I could not feel the heat coming up my spine just a gentle warmth.

As I was trying this process I became angry, I knew I did not want my blockages anymore, that was why I had come on the Energy Enhancement course, I was fed up with them, they had served no purpose for me so far in my life, they had done me no good I wanted rid of them. I threw them in the fire with venom.

As I started to throw, I wanted to throw more on. I became very angry. I felt I had so much to be angry about; I could go on forever.

After this session I felt quite good.

My Energy Enhancement REIKI Initiations with Devi Dhyani, Devi uses Energy Enhancement Techniques in the Reiki Initiations, so....

On receiving my first Reiki initiation I felt very peaceful. Blue and white energies kept expanding. As the session went on I started to cry, tears rolling down my cheeks and there was some kundalini jolting of my body but I was not unduly worried.

At the second session I felt I was being pulled up by one single hair on my head, up and up it pulled me. Later it felt as though a whole lot of stuff was coming out of my head into the universe. First my little fingers felt numb then the other fingers followed suit. My feet also felt numb and slightly raised off the floor. My bottom also felt as though it was coming off the chair. Upwards and upwards was the movement. I felt emotionally tearful and tears welled slight. I felt very powerful, that I could move mountains with this strength.

On the third session I felt Devi's hands heat and a feeling of pushing me downwards. Initially again there was an image of white hands in the pray position and an opening up of my heart chakra, they felt more empowered this time. I felt snake like movements up and down my spine and I still felt numbness in my fingers tips but power going into them. I asked for help and the session ended with like wings flying slowly upwards, it was very beautiful and brought tears to my eyes, I wanted to fly too.

On the fourth session I felt similar sensations as before but this time the snake went outside my body, moving slowly upwards towards a star of light. My heart felt as though it was opening more and I felt a throbbing in my hands. A tornado started in my body, swirling very fast from the bottom of my spine upwards, eventually it slowed down to a snails pace, the energies had become gentler. From the white light I asked for help with my belly blockage. The light told me to use the white thread to weave in and out of this blockage and I successfully sent it down into the fire.

The Resumption of The Experiences on the Energy Enhancement Course

In the meditation that followed I continued my snake like progress upwards and asked the white light for help. I had a lump in my throat chakra so I sent that to the fire.

I thought I would also ask if I would see again a person I really wanted to see. The image came back of my first love and I acknowledged the grief I felt at his loss. I poured bucketfuls of my grief down into the fire below.

When trying out EE Level 1 Stage 4, I had problems when constructing the visualisation. At first I had an image of a golden tower but only slightly up from the base was built, I could not seem to go any further. Later I tried building it by one brick at a time, it seemed a long process.

Devi Dhyani identified a blockage above the crown chakra, which she removed using Energy Enhancement Level Three Techniques. Things improved but the white light was not strong until near the end when a thin rainbow of light fell down from on high, it then turned to a long waterfall.

I had the feeling of pushing upwards and a desire to fly......

We have been busy recently teaching Energy Enhancement to a very nice young lady who is a Database Administrator with a BSc in Computer Science.

"I didn't know much about the energy enhancement course but was drawn to it because it teaches meditation. I wasn't disappointed, not only did it teach me techniques of meditation which cannot be found on any other course but I also found that some of the techniques were therapeutic.

We've just had our second visit from xxxx. My comments which he passed on to you and i then subsequently read in the last SOL email broadcast are absolutely true.

He arrived at our house late at night and i was already sleeping. He knocked on my door and said "...Laurence...?" to see if i was still awake. I was and he came in and gave me a big hug. From that first word, I certainly felt a change in him. Grounded is absolutely right.

From my experience of people going on long Meditation and Yoga retreats, I have sometimes felt that they come back somewhat out of touch with "real life", but the experience i had of him was of someone very much rooted in being there.

His energy, positivity, honesty and interest in things is infectious. He seems very relaxed, but also able to accomplish what he wants to. He is also, i'm sure you'll be pleased to know, spreading the gift of laughter!

He is a changed man and an inspiration. He is also a great example of the effectiveness of the Energy Enhancement course and i hope now, more than ever, to be able to come and do it some time soon. Next September maybe...?

As for my practice, i am having trouble knowing how to structure my work in that i very much want to include both the Energy Enhancement meditations, but also the Mindfullness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana, which i have been doing for longer, and which seem to have different benefits to doing EE micro and macrocosmic orbits. At the moment, i am trying to do one on one day, one on the next; so, for example, Metta Bhavana on Monday, Mindfulness of Breathing on Tuesday, Energy Enhancement on Wednesday, then back to Metta Bhavana on Thursday and so on.

Concerning the EE meditation specifically; when doing Initiation 3, my visualisation of energy going into the Planet seems somewhat weak. The image or feeling seems to jump around and is not fixed. Would you therefore advise stablizing this before doing stage 4? To thus work on stage 3 before moving on is my current strategy, even though i have done stage 4 several times in the past.

From talking to xxxx about this, the impression he has given me is that this is quite normal and part of the process of the Energy Enhancement technique, but i can't help but be concerned about the apparent lack of progress with this blockage and the negative effects on my emotional state. Can you give me any thoughts on this? They would be most appreciated.

The other aspect of the practice i want to relate to you is that i am getting a pain in the heart when i focus there during the energy circulation. I guess this is what you would call a blockage. The problem is that i don't seem to see much progress just by focusing on it and trying to "breathe through it". Furthermore, one time i experienced a negative emotional upheaval after focusing there which seemed to adversely affect my relationship my one of my housemates.

Yes, you have found another blockage in your Heart Chakra! Blockages come from periods when painful emotions could not be processed and instead remain stuck inside your heart center. Whenever that blockage gets disturbed at any time in your life, all of those frozen, stuck and poisonous emotions will want to come out, projected onto the situation at hand! In a way any blockage will affect your life in a very bad way. Blockages are the anithesis of Spirituality.

Energy Blockages in any chakra will seriously hurt and destroy your life!

The problem is not that breathing through the blockage in the Heart Chakra adversly affected a relationship with your housemate, because this is what blockages do.

I lay on my back and Satchi placed his hands over my abdomen and I drifted off to a place of peace. I imagined myself lying on the grass in the sunshine. I saw Satchi as an energy there too, blowing through me like the wind. In this space I was a man, and not a woman as I am in this lifetime, and very focussed and filled with anger. Many images of women relationships passed in front of me some of them pregnant and I saw that I had no respect for the women in my life. I was wounded in the right side of my belly and I was dying.

As Satchi healed my belly I felt the pain of the wound I was dying from and people watching me said that this pain was reflected in my face. Finally the pain was gone and Satchi said that was enough for now. The previous lifetime had been healed and I had been brought face to face with attitudes in a previous lifetime, anger and a lack of respect, being mirrored in this. I saw how my irritation and anger was taking me away from my infinite peace and how these attitudes were reflected back at me in my relationship with my husband.

It was interesting that the relationship chakra, the abdomen, the place I was wounded was reflecting my previous attitudes and the Karma of those previous lifetimes was being given back to me so that I would be taught never have those attitudes again. I want to learn from my mistakes.

Satchi says you only get visions if you need to learn something.

Satchi explained that the intellectual level thought that it could solve everything just like this.. "I should not get angry!!" but that the intellectual level did not have the power to make that promise because its links with the emotions were broken, blocked and faulty.

He explained that the intellectual level similarly says, "The whole world should be filled with peace." Yet for 10,000 years there have been one or two wars every year.

The Techniques of Energy Enhancement allow the mind to have the power to implement its decisions through the Removal of Negative Emotions. The removal of Energy Blockages, which create physical disease in the body and negative emotions in the mind.

THE POWER OF TOTAL CONTROL

Satchi explained that if we had the power to heal our own blockages, we also had the power to heal the blockages of others. There is a transmission of Energy from Master to Disciple which occurs in silence. The preparation for this is the student's responsibility but the Energy always finds its place. It is the Energy of Initiation, which confirms the student in his enlightenment, but before this Initiation, "you need to be there before you can stay there."

Indeed, many people go searching for Integration and Enlightenment from technique to technique and teacher to teacher whereas a true student can learn anywhere. We need to increase that studentness within ourselves. We need to learn to be a true student. The ability to learn. The ability to ask. The ability to receive.

One lack of respect for the teachings. One negative word, ONE BLOCKAGE, and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart. One negative word can destroy the silence of a moment.

Swami Satchidananda talked of the time when Swami Sivananda died and of the Energy Initiation, which came to him at that time even though he was in Celon and Sivananda was dying in Rishikesh. He felt that some of Sivananda's fire had been given to him at that time.

Each Spiritual Master is a gift from existence, working in his own personal individual way to express his gift, his way, his energy channelled from the universe itself. They are individuals with strong personalities, "Personages!!" unselfishly aiming their lives at the benefit of humanity, the world and the Universe.

Even the intellect gets confused because the intelligent energy of existence, above the intellect, is the guiding force and initiator. Each spiritual master is as different from the others as a rose is different from a lily.

Just smell the perfume. Are they not the flowers of the Universe itself?

As Jallaluddin Rumi said around 1200AD, "Take what is in my hand!"

Satchi explained that these energy initiations had come to him also.

He had the last and his only interview with Sri Yogendra of Bombay. Sri Yogendra died that same night saying that at the age of 96, it was difficult for him to hold in his energy. And this from a man who in his prime they used to put in darkened rooms where people used to go to see the prana, bioenergy, rushing blue over the surface of his body.

In the interview, Satchi said he could only sit at the masters feet and say nothing.

Yogendra glanced at him and he was drawn to sit. Rooted to the spot. Yogendra talked of the time he was in New York, healing the children of millionaires. It was there in the 1930s where he gained the money to build his ashram in Bombay, "They used to appreciate me there and gave me a black stallion to ride around on in Central park." Satchi heard him say at the end of the interview that the people of England had good hearts, and this from a Master who in his early years had had the reputation of beating up students who took liberties, showed a lack of respect!!

And then afterwards the energy.. Sent to him by Yogendra, which he was given during the interview. WHOOM! WHOOM! Up and Down. Down and Up. From Heaven to Earth and Earth to Heaven. ENERGY!! with great noise for 24 hours!!

Satchi attended his only and last Satsang with OSHO. During the Satsang, Satchi had the experience of seeing Osho's aura. Satchi's mind just stopped, during the satsang when Nivedano hit the drum. As it stopped he saw the physical aura of Osho, Yellow, Black and horrible just one inch away from his skin, I suppose this is what killed him, Satchi said.

But then the spiritual aura came out, white and filled with light up to 10 feet away from Osho and then Whoof!! It spread out over the whole of the Buddhahall and filled it with white light. Satchi said he just sat there, tears falling down his face for what seemed forever.

Osho died 2 days later.

And then at the "Satchidananda" Ashram of the Bendictine Father Bede Griffiths on the banks of the River Cauvery in Tamil Nadu in Southern India. more energy phenomena. Father Bede, a famous monk who exemplified the urge of the Benedicines to Ecuminise, to explore the Energies of the Hindu Religion, had his first heart attack 2 days later at the age of 96 and died 3 months later.

And then 2 days before Swami Satchidanand died at the untimely age of 89, Satchi felt the transmission of Energy from his Master. Filled with white light for 3 days in a row, in the middle of the night for hours, unable to sleep.

Masters take no heed of which religion they are born into. They become channels for the light despite, or rather because of, the general low energy level of the world and its corruption and mixedness. It is their job to raise the energy of their students and of the world in the few short days before they leave this planet. To leave it a better place than when they came.

As I leave after a couple of days in the company of Devi Dhyani and Satchidanand I look forward to my future training with them Learning Energy Enhancement Levels One, The Connection with Energy!! Well, this week we have a wonderful young lady with us. She is a nurse who works as chief staff nurse of an oncology ward and usually spends her time helping everyone else with no time for herself. She has never done any meditation or yoga before, although she is a lapsed Reiki Master.

We have spent the first 5 days of her course working through the first few Initiations of Energy Enhancement and in the process and by other Energy Enhancement Buddhafield means, raising her energy levels so that she can increase her psychic vision and remove her own blockages.

In Yoga, the first thing we do is teach you how to breathe as the breath is ten times more powerful as the work on the physical body, and meditation is ten times more powerful even than that! As she moved her arms above her head with the breath during the fourth pranayama, she found a great pain in her heart center which she had never experienced before. As the experience progressed the pain got more and more.

She was amazed when she first looked inside herself because all over her heart area along the front of her body was clouds of negative energies. And when she breathed the circulating energies through the negative energy blockages she saw the negativity dissipate and the energy reduce.

She saw that the energy she was circulating as a fiery energy which reduced all the negativity. After a few days all that negativity was gone. The pain of moving her arms in the fourth pranayama which she felt in the center of the chest also completely disappeared.

As her family all had a history of heart attacks at an early age, she was very pleased to experience these first positive results.

For eight years she has regularly been experiencing great pain in the 1st, 2nd, 4th ,and 5th Lumbar vertebrae at the base of the spine after an accident there when she was dragged along on her bottom by a bus, this pain sometimes incapacitating her and laying her up in bed. The pain is always there and she always takes her medically prescribed anti inflammatory in order to cope with this pain.

At first she straightened out the energies which were rather convoluted in that area. Then as we concentrated on that area in one meditation she burst into tears, as we asked why, she could come to no explanation of why this had happened. We said well, better out than in.

The next day as she was meditating, an image of the Buddha appeared and went into the base of the spine.

The next day, for the first time in years, she remembered an abortion at the age of sixteen, which she had, until now, completely forgotten about.

She saw what she assumed to be the soul of her baby which was still attached to this area at the base of her spine. Using the techniques of Energy Enhancement she removed all the negativity from the baby, healed it, and sent the baby to its proper place, to heaven, so that it could find another body to come down into.

I told her that we tend to travel from body to body in families so that this baby could be reborn to one of her brothers or sisters, or even in the future to herself. Usually we get the souls of our nearest and dearest because we love them.

But when this love turns to attachment, that is when we absorb energies which can give us trouble as they parasitise our energy systems through no fault of their own, they do not know what they are doing, and cause us to have pain and disease.

All attachment leads to pain, said the Buddha

Enlightenment comes through meditation and non-attachment, says the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

And these experiences by our clients teach them the importance of learning non-attachment by means of Energy Enhancement as part of the learning about the Psychic Sexual Connection and its importance in the Mastery of Relationships.

Usually, when something bad happens to us which we cannot, at that time, cope with. A part of us splits off into a sad or angry sub-personality whose whole life purpose is to remember the thing which happened at the bottom of the woodshed. To moan and create bad things for us. It can totally destroy our lives.

It is common for amnesia to blot out the pain. Yet that pain then lives on in our body to cause us much trouble and later on incapacitation and disease.

Common with our clients are things like this and many times incest with members of the family like fathers, uncles and grandfathers, which they then forget!

When this happens the split off sub-personality must be discharged of all of its pain and brought back into the adult soul personality. The main personality then has more energy and ability to do. We learn how to heal our lives of all pain, fear, anger, and depression.

Also we have been investigating her favourite foods. So far she has discovered that Kentucky Fried Chicken when viewed psychically and discharged by the Grounding of Negative Energies which we learn in Initiation Three of Energy Enhancement, looks to have lots of disgusting green and black gunk grounding when she concentrates on it psychically. Some foods look to have energy and some foods look as if they are dead.

In this way we can learn to judge if our food is fit to eat before we put it in our mouths.

We can see the pesticides in food before we eat them.

We can enhance our energies by learning how to choose the best foods for us to eat.

Our nurse has certainly been shaking and vibrating as the energy tried to find a way through all the blockages. All normal stuff.

Well, in the middle of a Three Level Energy Enhancement Course and Energy Enhancement Yoga Teacher Training Course we had some experiences with Lisabeta from Sweden and Lydie from France. They are both incipient Pristesses with psychic energy gifts which can be amazing until training makes them useful.

Lisabet is afraid that we will describe her as a Normal housewife whose husband is a pilot, yet how any person who went to Peru for Training with Shamen on the Inca Trail could be described as ordinary is beyond me.

Yesterday she had a wonderful experience after the Yoga session. I was playing the Gyuto Monks from Tibet whose job it is to use their Chanting of Prayers and Mantras to expel and excorcise entities and negative energies from the surroundings.

The recording was made in Saint John the Divines Cathedral in New York in the presence of the Dalai Lama. The beautiful Digital Recording was paid for and organized by Richard Gere the actor and Mickey Hart, the drummer from the Grateful Dead. The disk is available on rykodisk.

It is interesting that there in the Cathedral talked my teacher Swami Satchidananda on many occasions. He was invited to talk there because he so impressed the rector of the Cathedral with his presence and Energy of Enlightenment but also because he received the Martin Buber award for World Peace due to his efforts in the Ecumenical field.

How can this World come together as One, in Peace and Harmony, if the Religions of this world are still fighting one another?

The Truth is One, He said, The Paths are many.

We use the energy of the Gyuto Monks whose heartfelt prayer, Negative Thoughtforms, entities and human delusions are endless, we vow to end them all!! and so they stay on this planet from lifetime to lifetime, dedicated to the Enlightenment of all beings. We use their chanting to clear the negative energies released from the energy bodies of our clients through the Energy Enhancement purification process.

So after the yoga we were meditating with the chanting of these monks in the background and the Energy Enhancement techniques in the foreground.

Lisabet reported that she felt the energies coalescing in her Solar Plexus going round and around, and then they shot down into a blockage she felt for the first time in her Abdominal Chakra. Then the Kundalini Energy started to travel powerfully all around her body up into the center of the Universe and down into the center of the Earth.

She felt goose pimples all over her skin. The energy was coursing through her body in what felt to be an extended orgasm for at least 30 minutes and when it was time for lunch she did not want to come out of it.

Usually such orgasmic Kundalini experiences are just adjuncts to the process of clearing energy blockages.

Said Sufi Master Saadi, When the energy is flowing correctly, there is no movement!

And these powerful sensations are just Kundalini energy flowing through a blockage resistance as the blockage is in the process of being removed.

We tend to remove Energy Blockages in waves. At first we remove all the easy blockages and then as we go deeper into Energy Enhancement we raise our energies higher and stronger, deeper blockages become candidates for expulsion. Like the layers of an onion we expel all blockages. The more powerful blockages hide until sufficient energy is there to remove them. People of the essence, in contact with their Soul, tend to be rough diamonds in that they use each moment to teach everyone around them about soul contact. In that they have no choice. I've decided to write a testimonial in the form of a letter to you, because I feel that personalises it - I guess I just have something against marketing, not because I have a blockage, but because of the damage I feel marketing does in terms of influencing certain modes of thinking, communication and relationships.

In my view marketing speak is the newspeak of 1984, the means by which the ideologies of the corporations and their free market capitalism are perpetuated by the very form which language takes... not only what is said but how it is said. T.S. Eliot once said that poetry is all about finding new ways to say the old things.

Now we want to express ourselves and all sorts of prefabricated market talk can come into our heads, especially about being happy with things, all from the superabundance of advertising we are pummeled with every day. It's worse in England Satchi, believe me. There's a lot of talk in the air about England really going downhill, young people and old people talking about leaving the country.

I think the pollution has got noticablely worse here. If things are to change it will take a great poetic event, whereby language can begin to free itself. So really this is my poetic sensibility getting a bit peeved at the pathological aspect of marketing! I don't want to borrow its phrases or its attitude. So I thought I'd write you a letter!

Well, the longer I spend at home the more I see how tremendously good for me the course was - it was tough, and I think it's important for people to know that it's tough. - it requires work, discipline and an openness and will to learn, and provides the perfect environment for the development of these qualities, which are really wonderful qualities to have.

Well, most people find it really easy but sometimes, in order to deal with certain personalities we have to give them Tough Love in order to help their Energy Enhancement Course. It couldnt have been that bad, the guy is still speaking to me!! Satchidanand

I like how you left me to find out so much on my own and forced me to be strong, but then were different with James and Joseph because you gave them what they needed. There was no molly coddling! Well, Devi molly coddled me a little bit, but you know...

It's funny, since getting back I've been going through an adjustment period, which is a great learning process of integrating all I've learnt in training into everyday life. I've noticed how much I've moved on in the relationships I meditated on during the course. (This is Energy Enhancement Level 3, The Mastery of Relationships - Satchi)

One of the relationships in particular, where the person is very damaged and can be very violent and aggressive, has improved massively. He still has a lot of negative energy about him but I don't feel so affected by it now, and can move my life on without being held back by the relationship.

And when I make a move on I am noticing how generous life is and how it meets me halfway when I take a step in the right direction. One of the strongest things I've noticed is that I identify with my body, mind and emotions a lot less than when I came on the course. I don't get in a rut so easily, and if I do it's never for long. Remembering what I truly am and not identifying with the egoity of mind so much means that I can see that everything and everyone is the same thing - in disguise as different things!

I no longer care as much what people think of 'me' as a result - it doesn't matter. All that matters is that I remain true to my work, why I am here, and that this involves the well being of everyone I know. Some things I know all I can do is meditate on, and working physically or with words is either impossible or not effective unless it has the energy of meditation behind it... I understand what you said in our chat about language now.

Karma Yoga comes about naturally when we ground out the Negative Energies. We then have the ability to know that if we do anything, 50% of the people will say that is very bad, and 50% of the people will say tha it is very good. Karma Yoga means that we decide what to do and then remain unaffected by criticism, and unegotistical, humble, when praised. Satchidanand

I was saying not to get so hung up about language and that the main thing was the intention behind it, and the energy with which we imbued it. I told the story from Gurdjieffs book, Meetings with Remarkable Men, about the two monks who travelled from Monastery to Monastery giving lectures. The first charmed all the monks and the birds from the trees with his wonderful speach. The second was rough and spoke bluntly. Yet after a month it was the rough monks speach which remained in everyones mind. The charming monk spoke a wonderful confectionary based on the Mind. The rough Monk spoke from his Essence, from his very Soul. Satchidanand

I'm also enjoying using my emotions and strategies properly, rather than them using me! I've been expressing anger in certain situations where previously I would have held back. It's amazing how powerful this natural emotion is when used properly - I can let go, I don't seethe and remain angry or get angry with myself or a nearby wall or the next unfortunate person whom I encounter. In fact, I 've noticed that what happens when I use anger in this way is that the other person is disarmed, the situation is quickly diffused and sometimes even becomes amusing! Keeping a sense of humour about you is definitely 'the business'.

This is Energy Enhancement Level 2 - working with the Strategies. Here we teach that we all use these strategies, The Poor Me, The Violator, The selfish Competitive Star etc, but we use them unconsciously. Really, the strategies use us or we are afraid of them. Unconscious use of the strategies can really destroy our lives. By grounding all the negative energies in these strategies we gain the power of using them from ourselves, consciously, in order to pursue our Soul Path. Satchidanand

Obviously I am constantly learning, making mistakes and getting used to living this new paradigm and feeling it out more fully with my own experience. But I can genuinely say that I am happy - it's not a struggle, and I don't feel buried under a mountain of turd every time something goes wrong. I don't berate myself as I used to. I'm grounded and practical and getting on with stuff!

Laurence (President of the University Buddhist Society) said when he saw me he was immediately struck by how solid and grounded I appeared. Life is very exciting at the moment actually, I'm moving to London next week and have so much going on I can barely catch up. I've got a temp job for the moment as a postman would you believe! It seems to involve a lot of pottering around on the astral planes without having much of a direction, meeting rather annoying characters who are only seem to want to waste your time. But is was instructive and revealed to me the beauty of detail within the different planes. Hi, my name is Peter; I am an electrical engineer for my local power company in the UK.

Previous to attending the Energy Enhancement Course I had been initiated to Level 3 Reiki. I have also been suffering over a few years, sensitivity to certain foods, pollutants and pesticides, giving me low-grade health.

We started at 7.30am on day one and Satch and Devi taught us Yogic Breathing, which is quite different from normal breathing. One breathes in through the nose first to the abdomen, then the chest and finally the upper chest, holding for a few seconds. Finally the out breath should be twice the length of the in breath.

Once this technique of breathing was practiced enough, we were taken through various Yoga positions, during the resting period between some of the positions I felt my whole body tingling with energy.

I felt very emotional and started to shake and cry as the waves of negative energy released through my body down to my feet and then to 'ground'. This reaction completely surprised me as I thought Yoga was all about stretching the muscles, developing agility and finally achieving calm.

After the morning session we went down to the beautiful Calla Montgo beach nearby to our Villa. This is not to be missed, golden sand and wonderful warm, clear water. We swam and caught some rays. Yeah!

On the evening of day one we assumed the cross-legged 'easy position', which I never thought, was possible for me. I maintained this position for one hour!

We started Yoga breathing and got into alignment with the earth energy, at first it was difficult to feel the connection. Satch then came over to me and aligned my body correctly, I then immediately felt the energy flow.

This flow became stronger as time elapsed until again I felt strong emotion, first I cried and then I laughed, the energy flow was much stronger and was continually flowing without any effort. I actually felt as if I didn't want to break the connection, although there was a delicious pesticide free meal on the table!

Day two a.m. was even more dramatic, once in meditation I was continually clearing negative emotions, although what they were I do not know, I was shaking and crying.

We also learnt the Hatha Yoga 'master position'; I only thought gymnasts would be able do this one! Negative energy again started clearing but this time during and after the position. I didn't know I had so much dross on board.

The advantage of Energy Enhancement is that you do not have to experience every single negative experience you ever had, it is swept away as a "job lot" so you feel it going, but it is not unpleasant! This is really good, who wants to experience all the bad things again!!

We are off to Roses this afternoon for a sauna and a meal. I am really looking forward to this evening's meditation and Energy Enhancement!

Day 3, a.m., we received a Reiki initiation today, although this was the second time for me it was completely different from the first time back home.

I felt lots of energy flowing while Devi's hands were on my shoulder, I also got a vision of a sword, apparently this could mean breaking of some energy connections, which may have been of a negative nature.

We then continued meditation with the Fire Ceremony. This consists of sending your negative energy down an energy tube for purifying by the 'Atomic Flame' at the center of the earth. The energy is then returned as 'pure gold' to the body's energy field and this starts an energy circulation, which can then be used to burn through energy blockages.

During this burning I released again waves of negative energy and started shaking and laughing.

Day 3, p.m., connecting to the God energy. Started with meditation pose and circulating energy as in the Fire Ceremony, we then sent our connection out through the earth's atmosphere and out the galaxy and universe by imagining we were in the starship enterprise at warp 10, beam me up Scotty!

We then went on to the Spiritual Sun (soul) and went to its centre. From there through a door and onto the Monad (in charge of many souls) and from the centre of the Monad upwards to God.

One may encounter blockages of negative energy on the way up and have to 'breathe' our energy through them.

I found a very powerful one just before the white light of the God energy, it consisted of a black goo.

I was finding it impossible to fight through, my legs were hurting, my back was hurting from the meditation pose and I was on the verge of defeat. I told Satch and he said that it was probably time to come down again, as soon as he said that it made me want to do the opposite!

I broke through and contacted the God energy. Well what an energy flow took place then! It felt unlike any of the other flows and my negative energy starting clearing good style. I was shaking, crying and then finally laughing. This lasted for a few minutes and then finally subsided.

This energy flow started from myself, to the God energy, from the God energy and back to me and then down to the atomic flame, negative energies purified and sent back up through the body and up again. This is known as the 'macrocosmic orbit' of energy.

Day 4, a.m., feeling quite whacked out today, no energy, found it difficult to maintain yoga poses and was aching all over. We had 3rd Reiki initiation with Devi, felt a lot of energy flow through shoulders. Had breakfast and went for some z's to recover.

Day 4 p.m., did further clearing of negative energies, but this time much more powerful, I had a blockage in the chest and the energy was so intense I felt as if I was having a heart failure! This sensation passes quickly and even after breaking the pose I could feel the energy flow and I broke out into laughter.

Day 5, a.m., talk by Satch about grounding the effects of any food that we have eaten in the past, or are about to eat and have just eaten (stage 5 of Energy Enhancement). Unfortunately lots of meals I had eaten were bad! Lots of grounding to do!

Also more importantly how to ground negative energy blockages within the body. One can with the right technique use the God energy and beams of energy from the third eye and the heart to zap these out of the way. This additional technique is very powerful and level of clearing is much more intense again.

Dearest Satchi and Devi,

It has been almost five months since I said good-bye in the airport in Crete. There are several bits of writing that I owe you and that will come your way eventually. I am in transition between my touring job and my theatre camp. Now that I am done with the tour I have had a few minutes to reflect on what I brought away with me from Greece. (Please feel free to use this as a testimonial.)

When I went looking for an intensive yoga or dance training program one year ago I hoped that I would be able to direct my life down a more positive path, learn to focus my emotions in a positive way, learn to use my empathy as a tool and not as a crutch, improve my physical health, and refine my yoga teaching skills.

I accomplished all of those things with you! While I feel a little half baked on some points I can safely say that the test drive of 5 months on the road has proved the difference in my interaction with the world.

I can only imagine that, had I been able to spend the entire 9 months with you this year I would feel even more solid in the skills I have learned. When I decided to fly half way around the world to study for 9 months with people I had never met before, or even talked to on the phone, my friends said I was a little crazy but encouraged me to follow my heart. (Thank goodness I have open-minded friends.)

My gut instinct told me that you were both good people and that you would help me with my goals. Here is my advice to anyone who is unsure if it is wise to fly half way around the world to join you:

You are two of the most compassionate and supportive people I know. You challenged me exactly the way I needed to be challenged.

When I look back on my time with you I often tell people that I flew half way around the world to be with my parents.

While I mean this factiously because of your similarities to my parents in your effect on me I also mean that.....

So, back to what I walked away with. From 3 months I took a deeper understanding of most aspects of yoga, the knowledge that I can now offer my students a greater range of exercises and a more complete picture of yoga.

Many physical and spiritual techniques for keeping my mind, body and spirit in alignment, a feel for reiki, and, most importantly, all of the things I hoped I would take away.

To begin on a more superficial level, physically I lost some weight, gain muscle mass, strengthened my lungs and straightened my back.

These changes are still evident 5 months later, despite my job prohibiting me from eating as well or getting as much movement as I would like.

My friends all tell me that I have bloomed, that I seem more confident and that I look healthier. I feel healthier and I feel good about the way that I look. I am not in as good of shape as I was when I left you but I still can feel the benefits of my time with you.

Now, on a deeper level, I have gone through some difficult times this spring and found that I am more emotionally quipped to handle them then ever. As you know, I am prone to tears and can let small things overwhelm me at times.

While I was still studying with you I knew that I was shaking the foundation of those behaviors but, since they were rearing their ugly heads in the shaking, they didn't seem to be vanishing.

They are still with me but have diminished into something that I can notice and deal with well before they get out of control.

During this tour I had a large angry man scream in my face, a member of my cast tell me that he didn't feel I was capable of being his boss and many a little frustration that would have sent me into the depths of a panic attack or other emotional tumult if it had happened a year ago.

While I did go through a period of depression about a month ago I also discovered that I truly have the skills to control my own mental health. When the mirror was slammed up to my face to make me realize that I was descending into an emotionally unhealthy space I took a step back, renewed my meditation practices, put up a circle of protection, practiced yoga, did self-reiki and remembered to breathe every day.

The best part about this experience was that it showed me that the training I received from you can both be a preventative and a Band-Aid.

If I don't make the time to do that and I start to feel a little out of sorts, a short meditation session can generally put me back on the right track. While I would never want to trade my ability to cry when I need to, it really does do wonders for my stress relief, I am thrilled to announce that I haven't had a moment of even the desire to cry for 3 weeks! I have to wrap this up as duty calls.

I just want to emphasize that my goals for my training with your, despite it being shorter than expected, were met. I know that there is more work to be done but I am thrilled with the results.

I am in the process of putting together the next year for myself. Where will you be January through May?

I found the SOL Website some time ago and finally made the decision to contact Saatchi and Devi for more information. -

The Energy Enhancement Book and Information confirmed my thoughts that perhaps this was a path I should investigate more fully - I booked a week - for the Energiser only Initiation into Stage One of Energy Enhancement, The Squaring of the Circle, Meditation, being practised.

Having arrived at Malaga and Meeting Saatchi and Devi for the first time, all doubts were gone. I knew this would be a good week.

"When I started to meditate I got the feeling that I needed to Ground, to go
down.. I tried to breathe and concentrated on my breathing but the need to go
down was more strong and I felt that all of the energy was directed into the
zone of the pelvis and the legs.

The pelvis started to vibrate. All this part of my body and after there was
hot and cold energy through my spine.

At this moment I asked for help and I felt something fold down like a veil and
I felt naked.

I got the will to cry and I cried and the lower part of my body continued to
vibrate.

Then I wanted to laugh. Then there was an emptiness in my chest and head.

During this process I got a lot of images in my head like a film but not

We explained to Laura that this was just the process of clearing of negative

One day a student went to Sufi Master, Saadi of Shiraz and said, "Wow, the
energy was certainly coursing through you today at meditation. You were
shaking with the power of the energy coming through you!!"

Saadi replied, "When the energy is flowing correctly, there is no movement."

Later Laura was still shaking every meditation for a week and cold and heat, but after that things calmed down and Her vibrating "Culo" as we joked, because she comes from Argentina and the above is translated from the Spanish, stopped shaking as she went on to better things in her meditation.

The tremors come due to blockage in the base chakra preventing your
connection with the earth.

The tremors also show that some energy is coming from the earth into you,

When I went to the Louvre Art Gallery in Paris many years ago, I saw the picture, by Leonardo Da Vinci, of a Shepherd Boy with the Gioconda Face, with his finger pointing upwards as in the picture on the right.

At that time I knew nothing of the theory of the Zen Masters. I had not even done any meditation at that point, however My body went cold with the SIGNIFICANCE of that painting and I laughed.

As the first time I read "Form is Emptiness and Emptiness is Form" from the Heart Sutra. I did not know what it meant, but something, The SIGNIFICANCE made me burst into tears.

Energy is impregnated into the work of the Masters. Whether in their works of art or in their teachings of Energy Enhancement.

If you can feel this energy, whether in the Star wars (May the Force be with You!!) Saga or in the Matrix Film or any of the myriad works of the past or NOW!! then you can feel a SIGNIFICANCE which is deeper than any intellectual theory.

Da da!    Yes it's taken me a while but here goes:

came to us for an Energiser a few weeks ago. Now he is coming back for Energy Enhancement Level One and Levl Two and Energy Enhancement Yoga Teacher Training. From working in a Bank he is moving to the Cayman Islands to Bank, Account and Teach Yoga. We said why not teach Energy Enhancement Levels One to Four also so with the above program, so he will.

David has suffered badly from exzema since at the age of 21 working during the holidays at an asbestos factory to support himself at University, he came down with the dread disease. He has struggled against exzema for 7 years.

Satchy advised me to straighen my back further to lock
on to the energy and then, I was able to feel the warmest glow
along my spine. This stage is essential for everyone
on this planet as we all absorb negative energies from
everything around us and we need to be able to ground
these and transmute to positive energy.

This jolting backwards and forwards effect around the
base of my spine was again achieved through the EE Reiki
attunement given Free with the EE and again was just showing the Kundalini
Energy being able to flow a bit more freely up my
spine.

This effect maximised whilst doing the Saluation of
the Sun, a yoga exercise with Devi. All through the
exercise I could feel the Kundalini Energy flowing to
my head which kept bringing out uncontrollable smiles.

But then at one point whilst stretching from the base
of the spine, I aligned so straight from the centre of
the universe to the centre of earth that the energy
shot straight through me and I shook so violently that
I need to lean on Devi for support before falling to
the floor! Devi even was able to feel the energy in
the room by the tingles along her arms. She said I had
received a blessing from god.

My other main experience occurred while I was at the
ancient volcanic hot springs of Alhama de Granada, detoxifying.

Satchy, Devi and I had
started an organic fruit fast to clean out toxins.
This is something I recommend just before starting the
course and on the course as through being purified,
you will experience me as your energy levels will be
maximised. No baulky food, no toxins would be entering
the body so you are able to free up bodily resources
which would otherwise be used to break down the food
and toxins. The extra energy can be utilized
to healing and clearing blockages.

Anyway at the springs, through the detoxifying again
the Kundalini energy was freely flowing up and down my
spine and I began to feel myself projecting up away
from my body! I got scared and then came back fully
back into my body. Satchy and Devi advised that I was
consciously able to do something which we do through
meditation in leaving our bodies and going to the

After attending a free workshop given by Satchi and Devi I began to practise the exercises I had learned in that class on a daily basis in my student digs. In under a week, I became aware of a NEW type of energy that I was beginning to feel and use. The energy I can best describe as being relaxed and alert at the same time.....

I soon became aware that my energy level was ascending, giving me more energy when I needed it and the ability to relax when needed too. The result being that I began to feel GOOD and began to look at new ways to sustain and expand this good feeling, such as a closer inspection of my diet and my actions in daily life. This in turn lead me to inspect the way I dealt with myself and the world around me, the environment and other living entities. Thus I realised that just by performing these simple Yogic exercises over a period of a few months, I had begun to look at life again, with a broadening new mind and a sense of GOODNESS.

Each time I attended one of the 3 hour classes, Hatha Yoga followed by Meditation, I felt renewed energy and vitality enter my being, enabling me to keep on growing or simply just to cope well with some of the things that life throws at us. The meditation classes are rich with techniques to help the aspiring student. Techniques such as breath control, correct posture, visualisation, all taught in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. I never felt any pressure or ill at ease, quite the opposite, in fact any unsuccessful attempts at technique often end in laughter from all and all in good humour.

I found the techniques of meditation an excellent way of grounding negative energies, increasing powers of concentration and the abilities that lead to the type of positive introspection that helps us find our true selves and how to relate in a more meaningful way to the external world.

Energy Enhancement Stage 1. The Grounding of Negative Energies. Whilst performing this exercise for the first time I had a most profound and somewhat startling experience....

In the meditation part of the experience I perceived an intense and bizarre visualisation. In the minds eye I became aware of being in a dazzling white area in which reared a most amazing "cobra-like" snake. The colours, texture and clarity of the image were intensely vivid, more so than television or cinema. Psychedelic is the term I would best use to describe the experience. The snake reared its head up to my face and I could perceive that its tail seemed to emmenate from just beneath my navel. As the image was so vivid and it seemed that the head of the snake would strike my face, I abruptly opened my eyes and came out of the meditation somewhat in a state of shock. Seeing the room and other meditators behaving as normal, I closed my eyes and returned to the meditation wondering what else I might find there. There was no occurrence of such a vivid visualistion during the sitting.

After the meditation I informed Satchi and Devi about the visualisation describing it in detail, and was told that what I had experienced was probably the "Kundalini Snake". Devi showed me some illustrations from books of this Kundalini Snake and my experience and my visualisation were so similar to these illustrations that I concluded that this was indeed what I had experienced.

(Kundalini Energy is the Basis of the healing of Man. The Symbol of this is the Caduceus - snakes intertwined seven times around a magic wand, the spine,- the Symbol which Doctors use as the symbol of their healing powers. We give Energy Enhancement Meditation Course techniques, thousands of years old which can safely and sweetly start this healing process. Satchidanand)

Since I began Hatha Yoga, Meditation and Energy Enhancement under the guidance of SOL, I have experienced a fresh outlook to life, flowered with many valid and meaningful experiences, the start of the journey of Self-realisation, a new relationship with myself, the material world and something which I had never before really considered. That which lies beyond the "normal" perception of life, especially in this post industrial scientific society, where everybody seems too busy in their own pursuits to take time to discover. Some call it Allah Some call it Christ. Others call it Krishna and some do not give it a name. But for want of a better title let us call it the Divine God. And this feels like it is only the beginning.

My journey to India was not only a journey halfway round the world, it was also a journey deep within myself. Each ashram had a powerful energy which had a sometimes intense effect on my emotions.

At Ramana Maharshi Ashram I felt as though layers of protection that I had used defensively were being taken away and my heart felt more open.

At father Bede Griffiths Ashram (Not on this itinerary) I remembered past traumas and worked through the pain. I gained a deeper insight into myself and my relationships with others. At Sai Babas ashram I felt a gentle heart energy. The time spent there was a time of reflection. It enabled me to really focus on what I need from my life and relationships and how I can expand myself and grow further.

During the tour I found that having time to meditate every day was invaluable. I was able to be more in contact with my Inner self. A space where peace reigned and where wisdom and guidance can pour forth. At times I was able to write down this guidance to help me in the future. The meditations and Energy Work gave me an insight into my emotional and physical wellbeing, how the two things are interconnected and which areas I need to work on. I now have a range of practises to take to England.

I feel as though I have grown through my experiences in India. In particular I feel more comfortable with my femininity and can now see how a women can be a powerful person without having to be like a man.

Devi Dhyani has been an important role model for me. During the tour Devi and Satchidanand were always available to talk to and healing was freely given when I needed it. I felt supported, safe, and looked after by both Devi and Satchidanand during the tour.

The tour has been a time for releasing the pain, introspection, and self realisation. I feel as though it has been a vital part of my growth. I wouldn't have missed one minute of it !

From Devi and Sat I have gained Support, friendship, healing and guidance in contacting our source of inner wisdom through the release of old patterns of behaviour - daily practice of meditation and Energy Work.

From the Energy Work I got the importance of daily routine of meditation - time to be alone and get in contact with my higher self, also tune into my thought system and experience how I really feel about issues affecting my life eg. Trust - I find it hard to form close friendships through lack of trust, opening myself up may result in pain. Learning to take risks, trust in guidance from my higher self. If I do experience pain in any relationship - what lessons can I learn from this pain - see it as a teaching/growth experience rather than negative experience which reconfirms to my darker side Just can't trust anybody - told you so!

Hatha yoga - gentle form of yoga which allows you to proceed at your own pace - awareness of stiffness/pain of body joints. Correct breathing into the pain allows the body to relax and the pain to leave - allowing you to master the pain with awareness rather than give up. The chanting was good. I have felt a fire in the heart and heat in the spine after chanting with Devi and Sat in Sai Babas Ashram.

The Ashram of Sri Ramana Maharshi embraced me with love, gentleness and feeling of inner peace. On walking up the steps into the cave of Ramana Maharshi I was embraced by strong energy - a welcome energy. During meditating in his room (in the cave) I had a strong vision of him entering my forehead. He (Ramana Maharshi) told me it was time to go home. The vision has reappeared to bring me support during periods of deep inner pain experienced throughout the tour.

In the Ashram of Father Bede Griffiths I felt strong presence of spiritual energy. The lectures from brother Martin about looking at life and teachings of Christs message through love and not fear, as man likes to believe, has allowed me, as a Catholic, to respect Christs teaching and see him as a teacher of love and wisdom. Happiness is here to obtain in this life, not the next.

Ashram of Sai Baba - Opening of my heart Chakra.
During a healing session with Devi and Satchidanand, a person who wronged me, raped me, 22 years ago, leaving me with pain and guilt, came through Satchidanand in a healing session to say he was sorry for the grief he had caused. This has helped me to release a lot of pent up tension, anger guilt, pain. To be asked for forgiveness awakens the part of you that would like to be forgiven for the times I have wronged people - to look at the areas in my life I need to resolve before I get a true picture of my inner qualities, strengths, accepting guidance within.

The power of forgiveness and to forgive is a very strong quality to possess, a wonderful friend to have.

Coming back to London from my yoga course in Mallorca with Satchi & Devi, I not only had a desire to go back and continue my personal development through the wide range of courses they have on offer, but also to return to the space inside myself that they had guided me to.
