Problems and conflicts arise when wills clash.
HOW TO DEVELOP WILLPOWER.
We are exercising our willpower in every waking second.
Every decision we make in body/emotion/mind is an act of will.
The question is "Are we making conscious decisions or are we acting from habit?"
We can develop willpower by making conscious decisions. Start small and soon you will develop "conscious willpower."
OVERCOMING NEGATIVE HABITS.
On the non-intuitive level, each time we think or act, then we are using our will to reinforce that decision/habit.
To overcome holistic negative behavioural patterns, we need to become conscious of this process and to begin to make conscious decisions about the way we think, feel, and behave.
As we consciously exercise our willpower, then we begin to develop "conscious willpower", the ability to make conscious, positive decisions.
