IS EXISTENCE ETERNAL?
If Existence is eternal then the probability of our Universe eternally re-occuring exactly, as it has today, is 1 (100% certain).
If Existence is eternal then the probability of anything happening, that can happen, is 1 (100% certain).
If time is the measurement of changes, and our universe is in a constant state of change (yet its basic energy remains the same), then we can estimate that Existence is most probably an eternal phenomenon, time being one of its qualities.
If Existence is Eternal, then all possible permutations of the Universe that can happen, will happen. This means that all the almost infinite multi-verses of TimeSpace events that can happen, will happen.
You and I exist and are therefore part of the pattern of Existence.
We are inherently part of the possibilities that CAN happen in Existence. Why? Because we ARE in Existence and this means that we inherently belong to the myriad of near-infinite possible expressions of the Universe, and of Existence.
REINCARNATION.
Being alive means that we are inherently part of the pattern of Existence. In the entire Existence is an inherent statistical certainty that creates you and I.
This means that Existence holds a statistical template for you and I.
It means that, as we are today, we are part of ALL of the possible patterns and processes that are part of Existence.
Today's Universe is one of the almost infinite possible patterns that the Universe can take.
If Existence is eternal, today's Universe and all other possible permutations of our Universe (the multi-verses) will eternally reoccur.
This is what I think our ancestors were trying to convey with the concepts of "soul" and "re-incarnation."
There is the eternally re-occuring possibility that you will disagree with this!!
ULTIMATE IDENTITY.
The whole concept of eternal re-occurence could prove distressing if we forget that our deepest identity is not the body/mind, but is actually Existence itself - That which is not limited by the life and events of the individual.
This identification with Existence, rather than with the temporary experiences of the body/mind individual, is that which is sometimes referred to as "Self Realization" or "God Realization."
